Dr. Hamza Bhatti, DO

We saw Dr. Bhatti today as our daughter wounded her chin. Dr. Bhatti very delicately treated the area using plastic surgery type strategies to ensure optimal healing and minimal scarring. He handled the situation beautifully and had amazing bedside manner. He is extremely knowledgeable on all dermatology/surgery related issues and has skills even beyond. Not to mention, he has a great personality and will make you laugh to ease your nerves. We are so grateful for his expert treatment and would highly recommend him.

Dr. Bhatti is the worst healthcare provider I have ever seen. At the time, he was the only dermatologist who would take my insurance so I had to see him twice. The first visit, he was very alarmed about a mark on my face, told me it could be cancerous (I was 23), immediately scraped it, and left while in the middle of answering a question I had about the wound. He left to avoid answering more questions. The nurse then told me not to worry and I was told to check out at the front desk. The mark ended up being benign.In my second visit, I told him I was very nervous about issues with ear piercings. He looked at them and then took out a syringe without saying anything. I asked, 'what are you going to do with that?' and he replied, 'we don't ask questions here.' It was an absolutely terrifying experience and made me feel unheard and unsafe, especially as a young woman. Dr. Bhatti and Schweiger Dermatology are disrespectful and do not care about patients. Avoid at all costs.

I would like to share how much I appreciated Dr. Bhatti's expertise and the compassionate way he and his staff dealt with my Mohs microsurgery. Melissa, part of his team, called me in on a cancellation, which relieved the intense anxiety I was experiencing about the rate with which my squamous lesion was growing. The entire staff did everything to ensure I was comfortable throughout the surgery and the result was almost scar free within a week or two despite the large area that the incision covered. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

I had Mohs surgery performed by Dr. Bhatti. I had been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma by a different office of the same dermatology group. I wasn't told that there are other options, but Mohs is the gold standard of treatment. It takes a while because the surgeon cuts a portion of your skin and then goes to examine it under a microscope. If he thinks it requires more cutting, he comes back and does it. Mine required only two. I had a good feeling about Dr. Bhatti's competence and efficiency. He answered all my questions both at the surgery and at the follow-up where he removed stitches. He instructed me how to bandage the site and told me to continue doing it. I give him five stars.

Unprofessional. Do not give patient clear instructions and do not explain his prescriptions.
