Dr. Hannah Homafar, MD

Great doctor. Very pleased with her care.

They asked for my referral by fax instead of electronically, and said they would call me to schedule in about a week. They received my referral the same day, but 3 weeks later they had not called me, so I called them and they said they may still be processing it, but couldn't do anything. It does not take that long to enter data into a computer. Then they tell me that new patients are being scheduled over 7 months out. This is not acceptable.

This was an evaluation I asked for from my PCP. She was very pleasant listening to my history of 75 years and why I have questions concerning my family. history of strokes. She did a thorough exam and we scheduled an appointment for several months.

Very nice. My first appointment. Dr. Homafar is very friendly and thorough with diagnosis and explanations. I am thankful that I received a referral to Dr. Homafar.

First time patient. Didn’t have to wait at all once I finished my initial paperwork. Nursing staff was very nice and helpful. The Dr. was thorough, supportive, and had an overall calming presence. You will be glad you made an appointment with her.

Listened to my dads concerns. Very informative regarding his treatment and followup. Overall a great new patient visit.

I met with Dr. Homafar about a week after my hospital discharge following a mild stroke. I found her to be very pleasant, professional, and very interested in seeing that (TOGETHER) we do everything possible to prevent another stroke from re-occurring. She has excellent bedside manners and felt comfortable having her look after my post-op treatment.

Dr Homafar is a dedicated doctor who is very thorough, and I believe a doctor who cares about my circumstance. I would refer her to who needs help to discover what issues are most important in their healthcare.

Dr. Homafar is great. She is very knowledgeable. She spends the time to understand your situation and you can tell she cares about her patients. The office staff is good.

Dr. Homafar is professional and thorough and clearly genuinely cares for her patients. She is beautiful inside and out. If any of my family has a neurology problem I will go to her first.

TEN STARS! I am extremely impressed with Dr. Homafar's care for my mom who has myasthenia gravis. Dr. Homafar explains things in detail and listens to your concerns and questions. She really pays attention and follows up with communications plus she is super kind and caring. Wonderful bedside manner. She knew exactly what to do to treat my mom (and we had been given the run around by so many doctors over the course of months just to get proper treatment). I was crazy impressed that she zoned right in on what exact meds my mom needed and thoroughly explained all of her recommendations. She also acted quickly because she saw how my mom was in need of urgent care. Dr. Homafar was recommended to us by one of the nurses at Methodist hospital who told us she was really knowledgeable about MG. Dr. Homafar has been amazing and we're so lucky and grateful to have her caring for and treating my mom. I feel very confident that we are in good hands. (Her staff has been amazing as well.)

Dr. Homafar is the only neurologist in San Antonio that has treated me with excellent care and compassion. Her staff is diligent in making sure patients are seen sooner rather than later. They are excellent in making sure you come first.

This doctor really helped me, and what I appreciate is that she explained everything to my entire family so they could understand everything too. I will really miss this dr. Thank you Dr. Homafar from the bottom of our hearts

Great doc

Dr Homafar is thoughtful, detail oriented and took time to explain my MRI and other studies during my hospitalization in a way that made sense to me. It helped me better understand my condition so that I could take better control of my health and situation. For this I am very thankful to her.

Kind, considerate and interested in her patients. Always gives you her full attention and if she does not know something she does research and you bet, she will have the answer for you on your next visit. She is young and upcoming but I believe with her level of intelligence and dedication to her profession, she will go a long way in her chosen field of Neurology. A great doctor and an excellent human being. Thanks Dr Homafar.
