Dr. Harpal Mangat, MD

My son has had numerous ongoing medical issues and has been to countless doctors. Dr. Mangat really listened to his symptoms and concerns and performed and ordered testing and labs based on my son's symptoms. The results are in and were reviewed and we finally have an answer to what has been going on (neurological Lyme disease) and feel very confident in Dr. Mangat's course of treatment.

I have seen both Dr. Mangat and Dr. Kaur (his partner) now for roughly 20 years. Yes, sometimes you have to wait (really, what else is new? You have to wait to see the doctor.) Dr. Mangat and Dr. Kaur's staff are often medical or nursing students. Yes, sometimes, the staff can be frustrating but, more often and more importantly, the staff often solves some discombobulated administrative problems and, with an occasional exception, tends to be responsive and professional. Both have been in practice within the greater Montgomery County area for many decades. Both doctors were trained at impressive medical universities. Both are knowledgeable internists; Dr. Mangat's initial focus was primarily emergency medicine. Both have dealt intensively with covid patients, here and abroad. Dr. Kaur has a stronger background in internal medicine, weight loss, and holistic medicine. Every patient needs to find a doctor with whom he or she can relate.

My experience with Dr. Mangat was very positive. He took care of my health when it was at its lowest, and he helped me back to good health.

Amazing & highly intelligent doctor who will get to the bottom of medical issues. He listens and truly helps!

I am a patient of Dr Mangat for several years, and I don't know hwy other people are complaining. He has corrected my mental health diagnosis and treatment , subsequent from several miss diagnoses from specialists, and we stopped an issue that was getting worse year after year, due to his brilliant approach.

I’m so impressed with Dr Mangat’s knowledge, overall care for the patient, his creative approach, genuine effort and search for the best treatment considering all angles. I consider myself infinitely lucky to have him as my Dr.

Dr. Mangat is great, however the medical staff is the most rude, non compassionate group of people I’ve ever spoken with or met! They will continue to have negative write-ups and end up losing patients if they don’t do something about the front desk staff. I’ve been seeing Dr. Mangat for years and trust him completely. He used to be rated a 4.5-5 star doctor, but after reading the reviews many complaints have to do with the front desk.

Dr. Mangat takes the time to listen and evaluate you. He looks at the whole picture, not just your symptoms. He thinks outside the box.

Dr Mangat his hopeless. Everyone in our family has bad experience with him. No one trusts him anymore. We are transferring to another doctor ASAP.

Dr Mangat is a rare find. If your looking for a doctor who still cares, has knowledge to back it up and truly entered this profession with and end goal of unselfishly giving of himself to help others, then he is the doctor for you. My hubby was a bit annoyed with the hour +wait at our first appt., once we were with Dr Mangat for 5 minutes he forgot it all and insisted the entire family switch to him. Dr Mangat was very apologetic and respected our time, he was late b/c he saw urgent appts.

I highly recommend Dr. Mangat. He is a real Dr. He knows what he's doing. I'm truly grateful to have him as our family Dr.

This is the worst doctors office I have ever been to. Avoid this practice at all costs, save yourself the time and hassle.

Finally a doctor that is willing to individualize treatment and think outside the box. Incredibly passionate, caring doctor that goes above and beyond!

The dr. is rude and arrogant but has no expertise or special insight to balance his personality flaw. He's also abrupt and makes rash judgements based on little info. He does not like questions and takes them as an affront to his "intelligence". He's an uncaring, worthless doctor who shouldn't be practicing medicine.

I only started going to this office because it's walking distance from my house, but honestly, I'd travel across town for his attentiveness to solving my medical issues. His assessment skills surpass every doctor I've had to work with in hospitals (I'm an ER nurse). He discovered things every other pcp I've had in the past dismissed. I love that he will give you his 100 percent to helping you when you are in his office. LISTENS. He has been a blessing for my health.

Dr. Mangat is amazing at solving complex medical issues. Yes, you may possibly have to wait but that's because once he sees you, he gives his undivided attention to your concerns. I do not know what our family would have done without his ability to be progressive and aggressive in resolving medical issues. Dr. Mangat gives referrals as needed but we have found that he was the only doctor who actually figured out how to solve problems. I highly recommend Dr. Mangat.

I like Dr Mangat but I walked out before talking to him today because it was already well over an hour after my appt time and I hadn't seen him yet.

Dr Mangat is my PCM. He is great, but I'm changing because his office staff are unprofessional, did not follow through on requests, and at times have not applied my payments to my account.
