Dr. Henry Pool, MD

Dr Pool is a top notch neurosurgeon and I would not seek another one. His bedside manner, as well as the staff, is exceptional. He’s very caring and listens intently. Dr Pool has performed 2 spinal fusions plus one cervical fusion on me, and everything went great! All my symptoms immediately went away. He explained to me in detail about my MRI and surgery. I now have a herniated disc and he will perform another surgery on me soon. I cannot say enough good about Dr Pool. You will not be disappointed. He’s the very best.

My mom was seen by Dr Pool for a follow up following a referral from the ER. It was her first time at this practice and our experience with Dr Pool was exceptional!!

Dr. Pool and his staff are very efficient and professional. The waiting time is quick. The entire assistance waiting area is very comfortable. Everyone is friendly.

I did have low back surgery

I was referred to Dr Pool by my PCP, who I trust very much. She said that he was the very best. I came from out of State to see him and he found out for myself how knowledgeable and caring he is. He explained my issues to me, and the subsequent procedure I would need. He was very clear on what was causing my problem, and straightforward with the chances that something could go wrong. He has a great bedside manner, smart, and clearly has to be at the top of his field. I feel very fortunate that I am now under his care. Do yourself a favor and make him part of your healthcare.

Dr Pool bedside manner is top notch! He is kind and friendly. 10 out of 10 the best Doctor have encountered in a long time he listens to you and he actually shows that he cares about you and your health concerns. He made me feel so comfortable and I appreciated that so much. Dr Doctor Pool is absolutely at the top of his profession!! I think a lot of Doctors should strive to be like him..Not only that his staff. I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to have him as my care specialist he is over all just a great person & exceptional Doctor!!

Dr. Pool is a very good doctor. He has very good bedside manners. I will be having surgery soon and he explained the procedure surgery to me. He is a very caring doctor I pray that God continues to bless him.

Dr. Pool performed back surgery on the lumbar region on my back. Before surgery he explained what he would do and my expected time for recovery. I had been dragging my right leg. The surgery was done in the morning and the moment my feet touched the floor, I knew I was better and with a nurse by my side, we walked down the hall and I was no longer dragging my leg! Did i have pain, yes, but the worse part lasted about 3 days. I was totally thrilled. I don't have enough words to describe my confidence in Dr. Pool's abilities!

Dr pool was vey professional and had a lot of knowledge about what caused my neck and nerve pain. I’m so glad I came to his office !

Dr Pool is not only very good at what he does, he is compassionate and caring. He answers questions and concerns with wisdom and understanding. I cannot recommend him more highly.

6 years ago I had a seizure which landed me in the hospital. They did an MRI and found I had a brain tumor. The ER dr came in crying and gave us the news. God is so good because Dr Pool was the neurosurgeon on call that Easter Sunday. Dr Pool’s bedside manner is phenomenal! He is so very kind and truly cares about his patients. He never rushes through his appointments. He removed the meningioma and I go yearly for rechecks. He is the very best in Greensboro NC. He knows his field and he explains everything in layman’s terms. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Pool! He is a true blessing to his patients! I’m so thankful that he was on call 6 years ago.

His bedside manner is phenomenal. Listens well and knows how to explain in layman’s terms. A Real caring Doctor that takes the time to advise and recommend the right treatment for me. Simply Amazing!

Dr. Pool and his entire staff are all amazing and very compassionate people. I would highly recommend in a heartbeat. You have no reason to trust me; but without a doubt, I could never imagine needing to find a better physician to care for my spinal needs. Just a great, GREAT, man.

Dr Pool did an excellent job of explaining my MRI and explaining what my options were moving forward. Scheduled a follow up appointment to get an update if my situation becomes worse or improves.

Dr. Pool took the time to address my concerns and answer my questions. He also took the time to explain treatment options. He listens and wants to do what is best for me.

EXPLAINED EVERYTHING VERY WELL

Dr. Pool was amazing. This was my first visit. I appreciated the time he spent educating on the disease process, and the MRI test results. He presented advantages and risks of treatment options moving forward. Very kind. Im in healthcare operations and know the granular levels of administering care. Physicians typically do not take that kind of time let alone, Neurosurgeons. Bravo to Dr. Pool, he nailed it! He was sincere, knowledgeable, technical if needed and very kind.

This is my second time seeing him for neck issues. He resolved my 1st issue in 2015 and haven't had a problem with that procedure. I am certain it will the same this time

I have trusted Dr. Poole and the team at CNAS since 2009. I love how the doctors listens to my concerns and exclaim things so o can understand. They see ME but just a medical record number.
