Dr Wicker did a great job performing my colon resection 14 years ago. He did a great job and follow up. I’m lucky to had a successful surgery because of him. Can almost say he saved my life!

Top notch
My husband had a hernia repair done in 2014. I had an emergency appendectomy around 11:30pm last night. I was so glad to hear them say Dr. Wicker was on call and coming in to do my surgery. He is wonderful and has a warm and tender bedside manner.

Happy to have found Dr. Wicker. First general surgery ever and lots of questions and nerves. He was thorough in explanations, empathetic to my worry and was a delight each and every time we met from initial evaluation, pre-op and post-op care. Very personable and genuinely demonstrated care for me. Staff is excellent too! If you need a surgeon, there isn’t any better as far as my family and I are concerned. Thanks, Dr. Wicker and team!

Dr. Wicker performed a hernia surgery on me and I couldn't be more pleased. He is my recommendation to anyone in the area seeking a surgeon. He really set my mind at ease and took plenty of time to review the types of hernias, methods of repair and the method he recommended for me. The surgery was easily scheduled at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center and the folks there took great care of me. The surgery went very well and I had a great followup with Dr. Wicker. Great outcome!
