HERO
Dr Fuchs performed surgery on my 6 month old son for crainosynitosis (?) 14 years ago. In a time when my wife and I were totally devastated he and Dr Robert Marcus totally reassured us that it would be okay. Today, my son is GREAT and I cannot thank him and his staff enough. He will always be a HERO of mine and I hope that my son can meet him in the future. David Day. Columbia, SC

My son sees Dr. Fuchs for his Chiari malformation and had a decompression surgery 2 weeks ago. Dr. Fuchs is very smart and takes his time to answer ALL our questions and concerns. We even messaged him in my chart and he responded very quickly. I have never been to a hospital where the doctors are so involved and care so deeply for their patients. The followed my son closely after surgery and checked on him 3 to 4 times a day. I am use to doctors making rounds at 6am and that’s it. If we had a question or concern the nurse would message the doctor and they would come down to his room and check him out! I cannot tell you how much that means to a parent who is worried to death about their child. Dr. Fuchs went above and beyond with my sons care and I would 100% recommended him!!

Lord Reading reviews I think to myself are we all seeing the same doctor I have been a patient since I was 6 and am now 39. I get that not all people experience is the same and ain't going to tell you that my visit last was all roses but if scans look good and they can't see anything wrong...I have had a condition since birth and know that my body hides being sick very will.... So much so that my last stay in hospital lasted 3 weeks with 3 different infections on the brain... They are just people and God knows that... And by the way have any of you looked up what the personality traits are for Doctors.... how sure of themselves and what they are doing they have to be to be successful at saving lives...and the patients never really knows what they take home with them daily truly...especially when they think...is there something more I could have done or feel like they were unable to do enough

I and many other parents have had terrible care from Dr.Fuchs and Peggy NP.Everything he says in his Duke video about himself is the opposite of what our family has experienced of having to deal with this man who thinks he is the God.His ego is more important to him than the children he is supposed to care for. They do not listen to parents concerns and go out of their way Duke should have gotten rid of this dinosaur long ago. There are numerous complaints from adult and pediatric patients yet he continuous to work at Duke. The staff like to lie straight to your face about things about your child's condition as if you have no idea about the condition of your own child. The parents groups of sick children will tell you to avoid this dr and I don't know any parent that trusts him after so many have had numerous bad experiences in dealing with him and his team.My child suffers daily because they do not care about children with special needs and think they do not feel pain.0 Stars
