Dr. Irine Vodkin, MD

Dr. Vodkin has provided outstanding medical care for 6 years. I had an ultra rare liver cancer and needed a transplant. She has done everything possible for me to get the care I needed in a timely manner. A transplant is the hardest thing I have ever done. Dr. Vodkin has supported me with kindness, humor and creativity. She hears me out and answers all of my questions. My husband says she is in the hero column! She carefully monitors the labs and imaging. She had to research which drug to give me to suppress the rare cancer from recurring. No cancer in my new liver to date. My family and friends are so grateful I am still alive. I am grateful to the moon and back! I couldn’t give a higher recommendation for Dr. Vodkin. She is a very hard working and gifted physician!!

Dr. Vodkin has been my doctor since my liver transplant. She may have been before that but I do not recall much the weeks before my transplant. Dr. Vodkin has always been straight forward with me, a confidant and a supporter of my all my success. I have recommended Dr. Vodkin to other people and I will continue too.

Dr. Vodkin is extremely intelligent but down to earth and really good at explaining difficult concepts. She manages to be empathetic but also maintains a good sense of humor. Unfortunately, I've had to see numerous hepatologists at large academic medical centers, but I'm lucky to have finally found Dr. Vodkin! Highly recommend.
