Terrible Customer Service
The assistant who performs the initial testing (not the receptionist) at the Oak Park Mall location has a TERRIBLE attitude. She doesn't like it when you ask questions, so don't ask what the actual testing is looking for, or any other questions, because she becomes irritated and short with you. Her name is Alicia. I came in for my annual visit last year and she had a terrible attitude then. When I told the Dr. during my visit, I was told it would be addressed. The fact that she still has an attitude an entire year later is telling of the Optometrist since she's representing his office. Unfortunately, since Alicia is the only person who does the initial testing, I've decided to find a different optometrist.

Dr. Anderson is the most compassionate doctor I have been to. When we could not figure out what was exactly wrong he kept digging and figured out I had hemochromatosis. A very difficult blood genetic issue that is hard to diagnose. He really cares when he is with me. Listens to every word I say. Cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Anderson is my second rheumatologist. The thing that sets him apart is that he actually listens to what you say and offers concrete suggestions as to the best way to move forward with your concerns. He writes out what is essentially a discharge summary which you can take home to review at your leisure. He has been a lifesaver for me.

I have been going to Dr. Anderson for over 20 years. Dr. Anderson is a very compassionate and knowledgeable person. I highly recommend him. He never rushes you during your appointment and actually listens to you. Recently I have had to start very expensive treatment for my lupus. Dr. Anderson helped me find help to pay what my Medicare will not pay. I just can not say enough about this kind doctor. I am thankful to have him caring for me.

This is more about the office staff than Dr. Anderson. Dr. Anderson seems to be a competent Dr. His office and staff however are completely unorganized and rude. I was referred to an Endocrinologist. When I showed up for my appointment none of my records had been transferred. When I called to find out why the office staff where incredibly rude. I switched to a different Rhuematologist. This time only part of my records had been transferred. Save time and frustration find a different Dr.
