Dr. James Badman, MD

I came to Dr. Badman after being with my former (now retired) doctor for 30 years. When I gave him a copy of my records upon first visit, he gave them back and stated he did not need to see them. I was just another number here.I called on three different occasions with questions and never received a response on said questions. Not angered, just saddned that someone who you go to for a unique situation, and delicate care ... automatically stereotypes you. One size does not fit all. Nice man, but could learn some things from doctors 20 - 30 years his senior. Really poor experience.

Staff did not listen to what the hospital needed for my biopsy, almost had to cancel because of staffs incompetence. Staff could not complete the form properly even after hospital told them exactly how to fill out the form.

THE most caring, detailed, patient doctor I have ever known. Dr. Badman has been my doctor for over 15 years. I have never once left his office feeling rushed or not listened to. My entire family sees him. If you want someone to listen to you and be so spot on with your diagnosis then go to him. He always remembers me and I don't feel like another number. His office ALWAYS takes care of me, too. He has a great personality and his office is always well staffed and clean. Thanks everyone!

Dr. Badman has an exquisite bedside manner. He was very attentive to my concerns and very thorough in all details of my case. His communication skills were excellent. I would definitely recommend him as your family doctor!

Dr. Badman is kind, and you can tell that he genuinely cares when he talks to you. He explained everything very thoroughly and was happy to answer any questions I had. He has been my doctor since before i can remember. He is like an open book, he knows almost everything about everything! I LOVE Dr. Badman!

Waited 3 months for appt. Confirmed by walking in one month prior. Confirmed the day before. Cancelled one hour before the appt. Incompetent staff

I was referred to Dr James Badman by Advent Health Emergency Room Physician in 2018. I have been his patient since then. He is a knowledgeable doctor with the patients best interest. When I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2019 he demonstrated genuine interest in my well being, and went out of his way to provide guidance and encouragement. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Badman's office is wonderful. The staff and doctor assistants are SUPERIOR! Mercy is the most wonderful person who has taken care of me! I highly recommend this practice.

The medical professionals are amazing, but the office is staff is terrible. Ever since they merged with Florida Hospital and let them take over the office it has been a disappointment. I continue to go to the practice, but it is almost always a struggle.

Dr Badman is awesome ????

I was referred to Dr. Badman by someone who felt I deserved better medical care and that he would listen to me. He also has several specialties and treats the whole person not the symptoms. I went through cancer, surgery, a couple accidents, was in constant debilitating pain, dealing with PTSD, a concussion, menopause and thyroid concerns. He immediately realized I wasn’t on the right hormone medicine and did additional blood work. I’m grateful for Dr. Badman. He’s been a Godsend to me!

I have been Dr. James Badman's patient since he replaced DR Mac Murray years ago. He is easy to talk to. Clearly explains my medical conditions. On one occasion had me admitted to Florida Hospital North in less than an hour. His waiting room is clean and his receptionists are friendly and professional.

Dr. Badman and his entire staff are some of the finest Group of people my family has ever been to. They make every effort to see us in a timely manner and we never have to sit around waiting in the waiting room because they run on time. Mercy is my personal favorite nurse practitioner but i've seen Dr Badman and Aleisha as well and they are both very caring physicians. Wouldn't go anywhere else. I have recommended friends and other family members to their practice and they are very happy too!

His office wait times are terrible!! Its almost a guarantee you will wait an hour after your appointment time to get back to a room. Office manager is useless. When you have to get a pre authorization you may never hear back from this office. It seems like they don't care about you when you leave their office.
