I had surgery with Dr. Beckmann in 2019 on both of my legs. I found him not very communicative, and I had to be very proactive about asking about PT and scar management, or they never would have been brought up. I had complications with my incisions widening and taking an unusually long time to heal. Dr. Beckmann had no suggestions and didn't seem particularly interested in getting to the bottom of it. Two years later, 3 of my 4 incision scars look terrible. I felt like he was not very interested in helping me after the surgery was over. I would not opt to have him as a surgeon again.

I had hip surgery to repair a torn labrum and an femoral-acetabular impingement. I was in significant pain surgery and unable to walk without a limp. Dr. Beckmann and his staff were very good at listening to my concerns and symptoms. The decision to have surgery was not a hasty one. It was after PT, and other treatment that after months I elected to have surgery. Dr. Beckmann was very courteous and wasn't pushy. He was very straightforward and explained my condition in detail. Post surgery, my recovery has been exactly as I was told. 6 months later, I can run and jump and perform any activity that I could before injury. I highly recommend him for any hip issues.

Dr Beckman is a very competent surgeon. My shoulder healed without complications and I am now free of pain and with complete mobility. You can't ask for better than that!!

Easy to talk to. Made me feel at ease. Great surgeon. Even took my silly questions seriously. Surgery sucks, but Dr. Beckmann made it a positive experience.
