Outstanding! Dr. Cerullo took his time to talk with me while reviewing my entire health history in order to make an anesthesia plan prior to my surgery. He had a way about him that made me feel at ease. He explained why he chose the plan he did. Prior to my surgery he performed a local block. My surgical site was pain free for over 72 hours after the surgery! I cannot tell you how that has helped throughout my recovery. I will request his services for my next surgery. In fact, I requested he be my anesthesiologist because he has cared for other members of my family. I have all the confidence in the world in this outstanding professional.

I disagree 100% with the other reviews here. Dr. C is one of the nicest and most patient doctors I have ever met. He will take all the time you need to have your anesthesia plan explained and get every one of your questions answered. He is an EXCELLENT physician, and a very kind person. Seek him out if you are a patient in the Bethesda System. You will be very happy you did. And, as most anesthesiologists are, he is a provider for a large anesthesia group and certainly does not personally set the rates. There’s a patient services phone number for that.

Nasty person. Horrible bedside manor. Overcharged my insurance and left me with an insurmountable amount keft to pay him for anesthesia for an emergency surgery. He demanded 3416.00! If you see him by your hospital bed, ask for someone else.
