Refused to prescribe required meds.
After seeing so many great reviews, I decided to give Dr. Hynick a call as a new patient. I have a required medication that I have been on for a number of years. I told the nurse that due to mass shortages, I get a 90 day supply through mail order. She places me on hold and has Dr. Hynick speak to me. Dr. H joins the call and expresses that he wants to monitor every 30 days due to possible side effects. I didn't have an issue with this and informed him I would gladly come in once a month (outside of checkups and quarterly's). For some reason Dr. H is now adamant about me only ordering a 30 supply vs the 90. I explain that there has been a shortage and he agrees he is VERY AWARE of the situation and shows sympathy for those that cannot acquire their meds , but refuses to budge. All of this was with my very first contact over the phone. So either I must drop back to a 30 day (which hasn't been locally available in years) or find another doc. Dr. Hynick made this an easy choice

He’s been my husband’s doctor for years! We can always call him on any day, any time and he will see him. From a simple physical to helping my husband through his recent heart attack.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Hynick my whole family go to him. He is very sweet and understanding and you can tell he really cares about people and loves helping everyone. When my mother passed away he spent time to talk to me to make me feel better and was very very empathetic to my grief also when I was having financial difficulties he saw me and worked out a payment plan for me to pay for my visit over time not like most doctors that won't even consider helping if you don't have the money or means of payment. I recomend Dr. Hynick to everyone I know that is looking for a doctor he is AMAZING!!!!

Love Dr Hynick takes his time to answer any problems you may have concerning illness or medication side effects, always available when needed. 24/7. You may have a long wait in patient waiting area, but it's well worth it.
