Dr. James Manzanares, MD

I saw Dr Manzaneres to speak to him to get a recommendation on what my next steps were as a follow up on a 2 level lumbar spinal fusion which was done in 2015. I have been seeing pain management to treat pain. The pain was not completely eliminated after ablations and shots. Dr M said surgery was not an option as it was localized in only my lower back. He recommended taking monosaccharide and prescribed a medication for inflammation. He also gave me an order for PT.His background was Mayo Clinic and John Hopkins for training in spine treatments. Both programs are excellent! I strongly recommended him to get advice on your issues with your spine.He has an office in Brownwood in The Villages too.

The Dr was excellent she, she got to the root of my health needs and very compassionate and showed empathy. God bless allI if were to say in one word this would be exceptional!

I absolutely love this doctor! He is the first who said he could help my husband. I'd rather have an honest doctor with the expertise this one has rather than one with a great bedside manner who I wouldn't trust patching my tire! Thank you Dr. Manzanares!

In my opion, You should not be yelled at before even getting a reiew of your MRI. I never recieved a review. She continued yelling at my wife berfore we even got back for the review even after we asked her what was wrong. Apparenlty, she did not have our records and asked if we had them. We did not. I recieved a written script for an MRI from the Offices of James Manzanares. Never before have I been this disrepsted and I have family! I encourage you to go foryourslef and find out! It is irrelevant who you work for. NO ONE TALKS TO ME OR MY WIFE IN THAT MANNER.

I am 81 yo, affected by a severe back problems which HAD to be operated. I sicked the second opinion of Dr. Manzanares. He told me: "If you decide to be operated, you may not come out of it alive due to your age and heart conditions, but if you would make it you will have to face 6 months of intensive therapy. And, if you survive this, you may not be able of walking as well as you are walking today. The decision is yours...." He prescribed aquatic therapy and some overthecounter pills. I saw Dr Manzanares on September 27th 2021, he showed empathy and general care for the patient he reviewed all my images and we agreed on the best surgery to help my injuries post MVA he even responds to Enquirys on the websites general question section and called me personally via phone to discuss now that’s great personal service. All the staff I’ve interacted with were polite and helpful ull especially Angela Dr James Manzanares scheduler and of course all front desk staff Great job guys

Horrible staff. Waited a month to get an appointment and be seen. Show up for my appointment just for the lady at the front desk to tell me I arrived at the incorrect time. I confirmed with their office on numerous occasions and even had the appointment written on my referral and they refused to see me. Now I’m forced to wait weeks again Because of their incompetence. In the meantime I’m suffering from muscles spasms and cramping from being left unseen and untreated. Doctor is only as good as the staff they employ. And his staff is garbage

Dr. Manzanares is by far leaps and bounds above any Orthopedic doctor I have seen. I have suffered for many years with back pain which became critical after a car accident in 2017. He took great care and began with lesser invasive procedures (for which he does not get paid) before I ultimately had to have back surgery. He genuinely cares much more about the patient and quality of care than he does about money which is an exceptionally rare quality in physicians these days. Additionally, his staff mirrors his quality and professionalism. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Excellent physician who GENUINELY cares about his patients. He takes the time needed bc he believes his patients come first. He has a keen eye for detail and is a master at this craft. Highly, highly recommended!

Dr. Mananzanares is The Best doctor my husband and I have ever seen here in Florida. I went to him because I had a horrible car accident April 2018. We both love his mannerism and personal care. My husband asked Doc if he would treat him as a patient cause another doctor didn't understand the pains in his neck, arms and hands. A month later Dr. Manzanares was operating. It was helpful, but husband kept falling when he stood up. Dr. Manzanares operated on neck July 22, and husband has feelings in hands , fingers again. Plus, he IS walking without feelings of falling. I feel like I won the lottery getting my husband back to normalcy. God guided Doc's hands for this we are very grateful. His whole team in hospital were fantastic. His office staff is the greatest also. We recommend this group of awesone people to everyone who is suffering. Dr. Manzanares will be operating on me in near future. I trust him with my whole being. I had a minimally invasive procedure for spinal stenosis which worked out very well. Dr. Manzanares is a great surgeon with excellent staff.

I would recommend Dr Manaznares to anyone in need of spinal, neck or back issues. He is simply the best!

Dr. Manzanares is an outstanding surgeon! He is extremely patient focused; his sincere compassion and concern is beyond compare. He and his staff are very open, caring and friendly. Dr Manzanares consulted with me on the first visit withgreat professionalism and detail. He performed surgery on my back (microdecompression) and I am quite happy with the results after 2 and a half months of recovery time. I appreciated him praying with me pre-op too. Awesome brother in Christ !!

Dr Manzanares did surgery on my rotator cuff 8/17/2017 Hes a great Dr did a great job take time to talk to you anwsers all questions,i was really impressed when he came to where i was waiting to go into surgery we all held hands and he said a pre op Prayer ,thankful for that,
