Dr. Muccio completed knee replacement surgery for both of my knees 3 years ago, and it went great, I didn't need to use pain medication with my left knee recovery and very little for right knee. Dr. Muccio is an excellent Surgeon and Doctor, I would certainly recommend him for any Orthopedic surgery. He also did carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands, went super.

I was destroyed and desperate, Dr. Muccio told me the truth even though it wasn’t pleasant. After surgery and rehab I feel great. If you are facing the need for a orthopedic surgeon You would be lucky to have him.

I have been repaired when others said that it wasn’t possible, now I feel good. I take my child and all family members that are in need of orthopedic service. Honest and straightforward but not rude, accept it if you’re not doing what is instructed. I visited 5 surgeons that were scepticale about their ability to repair me. Dr. Muccio took it as a challenge and I feel great. I would send anyone to Dr. Muccio as I know he is probably the most capable Dr. I have had.

Very unpleasant experiences (2), appeared rude and condescending. Did not remember me or what the treatment plan was, even though I had seen him one month prior. (Also I would think he could read my chart?) No thanks, too many orthopedists to choose from and I will need much care due to increasingly worsening arthritis and still trying to carry on my successful nursing career.

Nope. No way. Condescending and had no answers. I have been in severe pain and he had no sympathy whatsoever. Told me I was headed for a total hip replacement then, told me today he doesn’t do hip replacements any more. Go elsewhere.

Dr. Muccio replaced my left knee in June 2016 and my right knee in March 2017. I am prone to scar tissue so he had to manipulate my right knee in June 2017. He has magic hands! I am very happy and highly recommend him to anyone needing knee replacements! Please remember that it is a commitment of three months for physical therapy and one must do their best in order to be successful.

He is rude very unprofesional. Accused me of lying about missed appointments that i never had. Treated me like a pill seeker although i have a broken displaced wrist. Do not see him. My wrist is out of place 3 weeks later and he expects me to wait 2 more weeks before he will do anything. Its absolutley ridiculous to get an appointment or a straight answer. I wouldnt take my exhusbands dog to see this man. What a jerk

Angry medical professional in Hillsboro ohio – Nov 23, 2016
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Muccio?
Dr. Muccio recommended rotator cuff surgery for me on the basis of a written MRI report. A second shoulder surgeon suspected that the tendon tear was only an incidental finding and not the source of the pain. He gave me a cortisone shot into the deltoid bursa and a month of physical therapy I am using my arm normally once again. I thus avoided the unnecessary surgery recommended by Dr. Muccio.
