Didn't care
Doctor didn't introduce himself, and immediately complained about my referral in front of me to his assistant. Obviously didn't care and seemed aggravated. I was the first patient of the afternoon, but his lack of energy made it seem like I was keeping him from a nap. Horrible waste of a copay.

He doesn't care about you.
Acute Urinary Retention in extreme pain requiried ER to relieve a bladder distended 3L. He wanted a cytoscopy done w/o anesthesia in office. He wanted an easy procedure for him but not for me. He wouldn't listen when i described the unbearable pain of installing a Foley & didn't want to see the leg bag which was bloody. He said anesthesia was "outside standard of care". Takes 2-3 mths to see a local Urologist. 3 mths later the next guy at DHR wanted a urodynamic test 1st -NO ANESTHESIA -& a way to run up the bill. That was his "standard practice". 5 mths after Sanders, bloody urine drove me to VBMC ER. A cytoscopy UNDER ANESTHESIA showed cancer of bladder & prostate. I was misinformed by that Dr. who told me chemo "was done AFTER surgery" & spent 3 months getting an appointment at MD Anderson in Houston. I could have started chemo in Jan, not 8 mths later, & avoided a lot of pain & great expense had Sanders just booked a surgical room & got an anesthesiologist.

Lacks Manners/Professionalism
Dr. Sander was the only one available to see my husband but we had no warning about his attitude. If he isn’t happy to see and treat patients then, I strongly suggest that Dr. Sander quit his job!

Wonderful Doctor
Dr. Sanders,… You are a wonderful Dr. I am beyond thankful with God that put this amazing Dr. in my sons path. He had to do two surgeries to fix my sons hypospadias. Both turned out perfect and without complications. I am very thankful and I really appreciate everything you did for my son, Dr Sanders. Thank you soooo much and may God Bless You Always!

The Dr had to reschedule my son's surgery and they said they did not have any openings until 2 months later. When my son finally had the surgery, Dr. Sander had no bedside manner at all. When I saw him, I didn't know if he was the doctor or a nurse b/c he never introduced himself. The surgery was done right and there were no complications. The staff at the office was friendly, but called a few times asking for another patient and 1 time they called to ask me the same question Twice
