Apathetic
I had to get treated for workmen's comp shoulder injury after he finally decided I didn't 'fake' my MRI and 'failed' physical therapy he decided I really did need surgery. The entire time kept telling me I was young and would heal and over ten years later I still suffer instability and pain in that shoulder and the other from overcompensating. Has no 'bed side manner' and came across as rude and uncaring.

Miracle worker!
Accurately analyzed shoulder injury that 3 other MD failed to, and performed micro-surgery that absolutely fixed it! This review is about 14 years after surgery and never a twinge... absolutely perfect still! Thanks Doc!!

I went to Dr. Sobieck for an injury to my shoulder from October 2018. I agree with previous bad reviews. He was VERY rude and unsympathic to my issues as well. I had surgery to "repair" a torn rotator cuff over a year ago, Jan 2019. It never helped me. An MRI 6 mos. later confirmed 50% plus tear! Dr Sobieck says "it will heal" and does absolutely nothing to help. I lay awake suffering every night. Dr Sobieck thinks he can tell me I just have a weak pain tolerence and compares his own torn shoulder and surgery (probably done by a GOOD surgeon who cared about him) and tries to say he's been in more pain than I. What kind of doctor tries to tell you how you feel? I've done everything they've directed me to do and my pain gets worse every day. Today, Dr. Sobieck kicked me out because my wife stood up for me. He didn't like her questioning what he's going to do to help. She sees what I go through every day. He didn't even want to hear it. Terrible doctor in my opinion. I'd stay away.

He was rude and dismissive from the start. I was nervous after scheduling based on other reviews, I should've listen to my gut and gone with another Doctor. He is every bit as terrible as the other reviews state.

I went to Dr. Sobiek for a workman's comp injury to my knee, he was rude and unsympathic to my issues. It took 18 months for my knee to feel better. He would tell me one thing and then in his reports to Workman comp he would write up a completely different scenario. I would not recommend him and I will not use him again.

Dr. Sobiek did two shoulder surgeries and two wrist surgeries on my husband who suffered with injuries on the job as an officer, my husband healed quickly, and was able to return to work each time. Dr. Sobiek may not be a big hit of personality, he is very good at what he does and I wish he would've done my husband's knee surgery-I'm pretty certain that had he done it my husband would still be working and be okay. The ROC is a dangerous place to have a procedure, nearly killed my hubby. Go here.

Complete incorrect diagnosis, Dr. was very friendly just very wishy washy......office staff was very nice except the billing department....this lady is very nasty, doesn't listen and is not at all empathetic to patient needs. I had a partial knee replacement and it never healed, I actually needed a full replacement which was done with another physician 8 months later, needless to say another full year of pain without relief. I also know of a few patients that had to have surgeries
