Intracranial Hypertension
Does not like for you to do your own research and ask questions. Not good for intracranial hypertension. Felt like he was experimenting and not thorough. Does not listen to his patience. Always out of town and treatment pauses each time he leaves. Maybe good for other illnesses but not this one.

Amazing surgeon
My husband had a stroke March 2023. Fortunately, we got him to Baylor Scott White, Plano very quickly and into the very capable hands of Dr. Tatum who successfully removed 2 clots. He was paralyzed on his right side, his face was drooping and he was unable to speak. Four days later he was walking unassisted and his speech is returning. Dr. Tatum literally saved his life and we will be forever grateful. He was in ICU only a few days and from there went to a rehab hospital for 12 days and to outpatient therapy. Dr. Tatum is extremely competent, calm, professional and explains things well without talking down to you. And later, I found out it was his birthday, yet he spent part of it saving my husband's life. Thank you, Dr. Tatum!

Full recovery
I had a stroke early in the morning. The EMS got me to Plano Presbyterian Hospital in about 20 minutes. Dr. Tatum was called based on the EMS diagnosis of a stroke. I was immediately given a CAT scan while Dr. Tatum prepped. THE CAT scan showed a clot on the right side of my brain and Dr Tatum pulled the clot out and most likely saved my life. Was released the next day with 100% recovery. From my home to the clot removal took about an hour. Incredible work by Dr Tatum the hospital staff.

Great doctor!
Dr. Tatum is a life-saver. I had a ruptured aneurysm and was stayed in ICU for 3 weeks. Dr. Tatum was my doctor and performed multiple procedures on me during this period and had follow ups with him months after discharged from the hospital. I can honestly say Dr. Tatum saved my life. Highly recommend this doctor.
