Nice office and good doctor
The office staff was professional yet warm and friendly. Dr. Wilson was excellent at explaining things in a way that a lay person can understand.

After more than a decade of progressively worsening symptoms, I moved for a job and my new doctor ordered an ANA test and received a referral to Dr. Wilson. He requested that my primary doctor order a bone density test, which showed osteopenia. So with high levels of anti chromatin, osteopenia, thyroid nodules, joint pain/stiffness, I thought surely they would get to the bottom of this. Boy was I wrong, I had less than 15 minutes with Dr. Wilson who did not even perform a physical exam. He asked a few questions, order some blood work, and sent me on my way. After waiting a week, I received a message through the patient portal stating that my blood work had come back within a normal range. When I asked about other thoughts, a follow-up appointment, additional tests, speaking to Dr. Wilson, receiving a referral to another specialist, etc., I was brushed off. I felt that because I did not something easily diagnosable, they could care less. Disappointing.

Refused my attempt to make several appointments even after my cry for help about my condition. He would only approve a bloodwork appt. Then when I sent an email asking him to just speak to me about my condition and requesting a refill. He denied both and later sent a letter of dismissal stating we couldn't see eye to eye on my treatment. I was only asking for an appt to discuss my issues, maybe thinking he would order more blood tests or at least give me insight but it only got me kicked from the practice AFTER 11 YEARS! Lori and Lonnie are the best but the Dr. WILSON and Angie, his assistant could use an etiquette class.

I am very impressed about the amount of time he spends with you, during your initial appointment. Although, I'm very disappointed that I only received a letter stating there is no reason to follow up with him and a copy of my labs, that showed abnormalities and a notation by him stating ?sarcoidosis. I have questions about my symptoms and the lab values that need to be answered. It made me feel as though, I don't matter as his patient at all.
