This is the retina specialist who literally cannot communicate with my referring doctor because it seems like these two were in an insurance money grab together. I have 2 disgusting stories that I won’t waste time typing, as I need a real eye specialist that cares. Do not trust this woman and get a second opinion if you value your eyes.

Two months ago, Dr. Elison repaired a detached retina in my left eye. Her wonderful and highly competent office staff helped me with pre-op paper work and an immediate date for surgery. The surgery went very well, and the post-op level and quality of care and attention were simply extraordinary on every level, even help with prescription prices. Dr Emerson is a very caring physician and superbly skilled. She even made a Sunday housecall! It felt like in the 1950s. Having to entrust your eyesight to someone else is disquieting at best. A very high level of trust is involved. In exchange, I received the best possible medical care I could have ever imagined.

Great bedside manner. Very thorough and caring. Have complete confidence in her ability.

If 10 were the stars I could assign to a terrific physician, I would give Dr. Elison 15! I am dealing with an eye injury that required thinking outside the box, and meticulous care, and I am receiving both. Dr. Elison is one of the rare physicians who thinks of everything, and is also sensitive to the challenges the person, not only the "patient" faces when patience and perseverance is required. Her staff, including her partner, Dr. Rachel, have showed consistent kindness and courtesy.
