How blessed I am to have been referred to Dr. Jason Chen, a pain management physician in the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Memorial Herman Sports Medicine and Spine Clinic. Following a thorough examination Dr. Chen had x-rays taken of my right hip. He then showed them to me , discussed his findings, and offered an injection into my right hip and Sacrylliac joint using local anesthesia and guided by ultrasound with no pain. He was absolutely correct. I experienced no pain during the procedure and no pain following the procedure. I’ve had pain for years and this is the first time I’m pain free. No medicine needed. Amazing! Dr. Chen is a fine and caring man and an outstanding physician whom I highly recommend. You can’t do better than to choose this man.

We were referred to Jason for pain treatments for my mother, and the visit with him was an awful experience. We have dealt with many doctors before but Jason was very arrogant, rude and very unprofessional. Later we found out that the reason he had this attitude towards us was because the staff did not set up the appointment according to "HIS" standards and did not have X-rays and/or MRI ready prior him coming into the exam room. He walked out of the exam room in the middle of the visit. No human being should be treated the way he treated my mother. By the way, I refer him as Jason because I do not believe he deserves to be called a "DR". AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL human being. He does not care about his patients. I would give him ZERO stars if I could.

I went to Dr. Chen for the pain from a pinched nerve. He carefully reviewed my MRI results with me and answered my questions. He was calm, thorough and paid attention to me. Very professional. The injection procedure was as described. The relief was pronounced, but I know results will vary.

Dr. Chen and his associates have been wonderful. He is kind and caring and has done more to pinpoint and treat a repetitive problem than anyone else has. I am a masters prepared RN and do not give these kind of compliments lightly. I recommend him highly.
