Great Care
Dr. Patel is a concerned, caring physician with a friendly personality. He restored both my shoulders. Before my surgery, I was unable to reach my hands above my ears. My right shoulder was so damaged by arthritis that a custom implant had to be made. Now I have full range of motion. I can reach above my head with both arms and do pretty much anything I need to do. I would definitely recommend Dr. Patel for any shoulder problems.

Wonderful doctor and staff!
I was able to see Dr. Patel within a week of calling for an appointment. Only a few minutes wait when I got there. Friendly staff and Dr. Patel is knowledgeable and his 'bed-side manner' is great. Very warm and friendly.

Right Reverse Shoulder Replacement
I fell on the ice during our February snow storm of 2021. I have seen Dr. Patel previously for my bi-lateral shoulder pain over the past 5 years. His care has been exceptional and usually a cortisone shot would fix me up. The slip on the ice cause more pain and loss of mobility I could never have imagined. I did not want to ever have shoulder replacement surgery. I had heard from others how horrible and painful it was so I tried everything to avoid it. Dr. Patel finally told me my only option was a reverse shoulder replacement and after 10 months of pain and I mean a lot of pain I agreed. It was the best decision I have every made - the surgery was a success immediately. I woke up and the pain was gone - the shoulder felt tight but no pain. PT started the next day and it has been an amazing journey. I am now 6 weeks post-op and I can lift my arm over my head pain free. Dr. Patel's exceptional care and his awesome staff have given me back my life. Thank-you so much .

Highly recommend Dr. Patel. He took the time needed to explain my situation and how he would remedy it. Had two doctors before him tell me my shoulder was too complicated to fix properly. Dr. Patel explained that although he could make it feel better he still might not get me more than 75% of my rotation back. Two years later (he told me I'd be at my peak abilities at two years) not only am I pain free for the most part, I have closer to 90% rotation!!! I am extremely pleased with my results.

My mother went in to see Dr Patel with a broken wrist two months ago. He put a cast on and then later put a smaller cast on. The arm and hand began swelling and she experienced severe pain. The smaller cast was removed and a splint applied. The swelling and pain has persisted. Several calls to Dr Patel's nursing staff have gone unanswered. There is no way to talk to a person, only an answering machine. This is far too unacceptable!!
