Dr. Jayne Cluett, MD

This was the saddest visit I have ever had. So hard to say good by to Dr Cluette. She is a wonderful person and physician.

From check in to check out my visit moved smoothly. The new facility is beautiful! Check in was courteous and efficient. Dr Cluett was her usual personable, caring, HUMAN and informative self (SO SAD to see her go). I’ve been blessed to have had her as my physician for the past 20 years. Check out went smoothly as well. The only thing that could have been slightly better would be the MA’s demeanor. Maybe she was having a bad day, as we all do at times. She was very monotone and didn’t have a smile in her. Hoping her day improved and that she found some happiness at day’s end. It’s hard to work in healthcare! Thank you all for doing what you do. Keep up the good work :-)

Well, it was all very good, it was the first time I went to her and I treated myself as if I were her patient for a long time, I loved her very very good, I felt very relaxed with her, I listen to all my complaints and answer all my questions, I recommend her

As always Dr Cluett was extremely professional and thorough in her approach. I have been her patient for over 35 years since her days at Kaiser until her practice in Bristol. I followed her to Bristol from all over Hartford County and have never even considered another obgyn even though I had to sometimes travel more than thirty miles. I was very sad when I learned that she was planning to retire and I miss her already. She is always frank in her assessments and pulls no punches which I really appreciate from her. During my time with her she has helped me through some very difficult times and I was always confident in her assessments as well as her ability to always do an excellent job. I was almost glad that I had some issues recently which required me to seek her services. I know what it feels like to be semi-retired and I admire her decision to slow down and continue to enjoy her job on her own terms. I will always be grateful and I plan to hang in there with her to the end!!

Dr. Cluett has been my Gynocologist for decades. As others have stated, I don't understand the negative reviews but I can only speak for my experiences with her which have been great. When I mentioned my primary Dr. wanted to wait for another thyroid test before putting me on meds she ordered the test for me and then called after results came in and said I needed to be put on thyroid meds. I felt so much better after starting the meds. I also have "dense" breast tissue and she has ordered additional tests for me when she had a concern. I wouldn't hesitate recommending her to my family and friends and like another reviewer stated, I will really miss her when she decides to retire.

I absolutely loved Dr Cluett. She provided me the care I needed during both pregnancies and preformed both C-sections.

I have been seeing Dr. Cluett for over 25 years. I had two pre-eclamptic pregnancies. My first with another OBGYN almost cost me my daughter. Switching to Dr. Cluett was the best decision I could have made. She monitored me closely and didn't hesitate to do an emergency c-section for my son's birth when necessary keeping both of us safe . I'm very grateful to have had such a caring Doctor during such a trying and difficult pregnancy and birth. I'm not understanding some of the bad reviews here because I rarely wait in her office and never have any difficulty getting an appointment. I'm not looking forward to the day she retires as it will be awful trying to replace her.

Very rude and unprofessional

I don't know who this woman is that was complaining about Dr.Clurett,She has delivered 100's of babies and I have been going to her for many years.She will sit with you after your exam and stay there to answer questions for as long as you need.I feel she is caring and much better than any previous OBGYN that I have had.

As a healthcare provider, I am saddened at the quality of care provided at this facility which I feel was borderline neglectful. I switched providers 6 months into my pregnancy and have never looked back. The difference in care I receive at the new clinic is actually disturbing. If you're looking for an OB with no bedside manner who rushes through appointments, diminishes symptoms, and doesn't bother to get to know your name then this is the place for you.

My 42 yr old daughter went there after 6 months of continuous periods. With family history of early hysterectomy. No ultrasound or anything. Gave progesterone. A month later she was worse and returned with continuous bleeding. Dr told her to stop being a crybaby and go home to tough it out. 2 days later i rished her to hospital and 2 surgeons agreed on emergency hysterectomy. Get away from this dr!!!

Cluett has too many patient to take any time for an individual person. She brushes off symptoms, rushes thru appointments, overbooks visits so you have to wait forever. Her and her staff is rude and unprofessional. Cluett overlooked several symptoms I continually brought to her attention. In the end, my trust in her cost me half my thyroid because she delayed in recommending treatment for too long. My prenatal care lacked so bad I had to seek another doctor, and I never looked back.
