Inability to listen to me explaining my symptoms. i found the doctor to be extremely dismissive and indifferent. He said the cause was arthritis in my right knee even though I told him the pain started in my left knee, subscribed meds and told me to come back in two weeks. Upon my follow-up I told him the pain in my left knee was still there and he fussed that I told him it was the right side of my knee which was clearly not the case. I asked for an MRI and he told me no, that my hamstring was too tight and that I needed PT. He proceeds to walk out of the room and yells to a colleague about readying an injection for the next patient.

Dr. Abend is very professional. He always explains everything and that has been very helpful to me. Always honest about the next plan of action.
