Staff was not pleasant upon checking in - was taken back, given gown to change into and put on a stretcher in room, said they'd be right back - no sides upon stretcher (safety issue, it was very early am, had I fallen asleep, could have rolled off and landed on floor) - it was 40 minutes before they came back. Dr. finally came in about 20 minutes later. NO one apologized for fact that they were running over an hour late and it was at least another 1/2 hr before I was finally taken back to endo room, again staff was not pleasant, nor was Dr. Fenyves. Did not explain procedure, I'd had an endo before so knew what to expect, but still should have been explained as I was a new pt. there. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I recently completed a colonoscopy at Tri-Cities Gastroenterology with Dr. Fenyves and found the entire experience with him and the staff to be friendly, efficient and professional. I would recommend family or friends to this doctor and facility.

Very satisfied. He has followed me for 15 years. I have had multiple endoscopies. They have all been comfortable with rapid follow up. He has also shown compassion in the face of pain and an uncertain diagnosis.

New to the area, I am admittedly noncompliant with medicine given by my previous doctor. Dr. Fenyves and his NP knew each detail from my prior Dr's records and took as much time as was needed to answer all of my questions. He worked with me to get me on a new medicine that I felt I could tolerate (and afford) easily. I could not be more pleased with my visit. I will recommend this practice and doctor; in fact I did, to my father. A follow-up call was returned promptly as well.

This was my 2nd colonoscopy, the 1st with Dr. Fenyves. The 1st time was like being on a production line, crowded facility and not very encouraging overall. This 2nd experience was much better. Short wait in the lobby, cleaner overall, and I didn't feel rushed to make room for the next patient. The prep experience at the office was good and conducted with dignity. Perhaps the only improvement would be to wait a bit longer coming out of the anesthesia before talking about the results.

Run! I've never seen a doctor with a attitude like this man if I could have gave zero stars I would have he has no respect for human life he left my dad to bleed to death and when the nurse called him he cussed the nurse and never did come in after doing a emergency procedure on him that day and he let me know he didn't like working weekends and I ask him to repeat what he said to me regarding my father and he said I would have to ask someone else he wasn't repeating it

Scheduled and endured endoscopy for cancer screening. While recovering from anesthesia, doctor called me his problem patient. Indicates I was non compliant taking medicine. He did not take biopsy due to inflammation . I was only given medicine three days prior to procedure. Office was negligent by scheduling insufficient time between office visit and procedure to reduce inflammation . Blame was placed on patient. Now I am forced to endure another endoscopy and expense involved.

Office has severe communication problems--either messages do not get through to Dr or NP OR the messages are deemed unworthy of response. One time an abnormal lab value is characterized as very concerning--prompting procedures and other interventions--the next time the same lab value is characterized and being of no concern.

Went to him for 11/2 yrs. One time would say I had colitis, next time I didn't have colitis. I would tell nurse my issues and she would brush me off. All this time, my condition continued to get much worse. Went to Vanderbilt for a correct diagnosis of sever ulcerative colitis. Now having to take Remicade infusions every 8 wks. for as long as I live. If he had correctly diagnosised I would not be in this condition today. Very rude, uncaring. Terrible doctor.

Didn't receive results from test. My daughter called to follow up and nurse thought she put her on hold. Nurse proceeded to tell other people in office what a pain my daughter was, not knowing we were listening to her the entire time. Have yet received test results.
