Worst Doctor, DO NOT LET HIM OPERATE ON YOU!!
I should have gone with my gut when I first saw Dr. Larson with his shirt that said, 'Now is not the time, bro.' I should have left his office and found someone else.He did my SI Joint fusion in May 2023, and after the surgery I never saw him, my husband had to ask for a walker, as we were leaving and I was hoping holding onto his shoulders, and was told, Dr. Larson said if you really want one, which they ended up being me. He prescribed my pain killers I was allergic to, which were documented in my file. I called several times and was told the on call dr would call me back. I called Friday, Saturday twice and Sunday, finally Sunday night I recieved a call back from Dr. Larson who had been on call. I was told I could call back on Monday and they would prescribe a diff. Med, which they never did, even after calling back. They also stopped taking insurance during my recovery, so the flow up was 260$ out of pocket. Fusion didn't work and I'm 100% worse than prior to fusion.

WARNING!
This man looked me in the eye and told me he would help my daughter. He then proceeded to do the exact opposite. He wasted so much time lying and acting like a good guy. It was devastating having to read his report. He plays with emotions and lives. My biggest regret is not recording the visit. Please be so careful if you have to go to him.

Superb diagnosis, treatment & care!!!
My first surgery was in 2001 while Dr. Larson was still practicing out of Spokane & my second surgery was 15 years later. His diagnoses, treatment plans and care were impeccable and I will continually recommend him to anyone needing his specialty care. Because of his treatments I have continued to live the active lifestyle I cherish. I cannot say enough good things about my experiences!!!

Terrible bed side manner
When my dad was in the hospital after an accident Dr Larson was on call one day and he was the most cold and heartless doctor I have ever interacted with, he was downright rude to my mom when she was having to deal with the end of life care for my dad. I wouldn’t take a pet to this man let alone a family member!

no empathy, seems to be driven by $$
I'm about to have a fusion in my back and I was reminded of one I had several years ago. Dr. Larson was the doc on duty in the hospital after my surgery and my interaction with him was so terrible I swore I would never deal with him again. He has no empathy and should be monitored when dealing with patients. I felt absolutely bullied by him. Because of COVID I didn't have any family at my bedside to advocate for me and he took full advantage of that.

Dr. Larson is an excellent surgeon
Exceptional ! Staff are responsive when called, they are helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. Dr. Larson listens, communicates well, and is an amazing surgeon. I referred a friend to Dr. Larson, they had the best experience, too. ( Note: we both had spine surgeries )

Dr. Larson and his entire office were professional, friendly, and very welcoming. They took the time to thoroughly explain my situation and give me options regarding treatment. They did not make me feel rushed or just another number to get through their office so they could get to the next patient. Instead, they took quite a bit of time with me to answer the questions I had. I ended up having an artificial disc arthroplasty on my C6/C7. This entire experience was one that would be hard to beat. I was referred to their office by a friend and could not be happier. If you need a neurosurgeon, you are in EXCELLENT hands with Dr. Larson and his team!

I broke my neck and Dr. Larson was the on call Surgeon at the ER. I had 3 surgeries and I don't have any nerve damage at all. I also do not take at prescription pain meds. He was a miracle worker and very kind!

Worst Service and bedside manner ever. Left my brother in critical pain for more than a MONTH without accepting his calls or returning them. REFUSED to see my brother again before his 6 week visit and REFUSED to refer my brother out to see someone else about his Pain. Told me brother to go to the ER for his pain issues. My brother did (had to) and they still wouldnt take his calls or see him afterwards. This isnt "bordering on" this IS - Abandonment!

Dr. Larson ordered a MRI after my examination. He noted the severe pain in my right hip area. MRI revealed a compression fracture. Dr. Larson performed a kyphoplasty on my mid-back (T-11). The severe hip pain was alleviated immediately. Another area of pain in my lower back then came to the forefront. An MRI of the lumbar area revealed a problem in my L4/L5 area. A laminectomy was performed six weeks after the kyphoplasty resulting in elimination of pain in my lower back. Dr. Larson's diagnostic acumen, surgical proficiency and communication skills all build trust and confidence. His staff, Holly, Michelle, Dave are very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. Thank you Dr. Larson and staff.

I saw Dr Larson for a herniated C5/C6 disc. I was all about trying every other option before I agreed to surgery. And I pretty much did. Then I agreed to let him fix me. And he did... I wished I would have done it sooner instead of waiting. The longer you wait & are in pain your body over-compensates in other areas. Once my disc was fixed, had to work on fixing the other areas. 18 years with no pain! Great professional manner, but a very down to earth nice person. And a very EXCELLENT SURGEON!

My experience with Dr. Larson was excellent. I found him to be caring and took time to listen to all of my concerns. I had two severely bulging discs in my neck, one of which had damaged the nerve controlling my right arm. He performed surgery and I have now regained the use of my arm. The surgery was almost painless. Post-surgery care has also been top notch. I am very grateful for Dr. Larson and would recommend him to anyone.

After 3 surgeries which made me worse , dr Larsen acted if I was making up my issues and demoralized me. It was about his ego not my problems like not being able to walk and being in god awful pain. Another group has seen me since and were actually apalled I was left like this. I have never been treated with such disrespect. Never again

He was a jerk! Thought he was all that. Didn't bother to order a Nerve Conduction Study which would have explained all of my symptoms, and did (ordered from a new Dr.). Now I am chronic and can't be fixed!

Dr. Larson is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I had 5 years worth of horrible back pain and during that time I tried everything short of surgery to fix it. By year five I was having trouble walking and surgery was necessary. He and his excellent staff did an amazing job with a single level fusion of my l1 l2. 18 months after my surgery I train 6 days a week as a powerlifter including heavy squats and deadlifts. before my surgery I never would have thought that possible. thank you

Feel as if I was in the movie Patch Adams the part where the dotirs are heartless. Staff did not relay any information to the P.A. not proffesional. P.A. wanted to give another injection rather than listen to new symptoms that have appears. I had to tell P.A that they needed to listen to new symptoms. Some conditions serious. After listening P.A. says I think that you need new MRI. I have been in pain 17 years and seen drs in 5 states it took this long to find hernia what damage has been since?
