Dr. Marcus is an amazing plastic surgeon. Our son had a cranial vault reconstructive surgery as well as frontal orbital advancement at 6 months of age to correct a condition known as craniosynostosis. Dr. Marcus was calm, reassuring, and extremely knowledgeable regarding our son's diagnosis. His surgical talent is unmatched, as our boy looked like a different child (in a good way) immediately after surgery. We are thankful we left our state of VA to see Dr. Marcus at Duke Children's Hospital. We would highly recommend him for anyone needing corrective surgery.

Dr. Marcus is a truly amazing, gifted surgeon. During my consultation he listened attentively, and answered all my questions precisely. I felt confident upon leaving he was the right Doctor for my surgery. He did such a wonderful job on my nose. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results.

Dr. Marcus is by far the best doctor my daughter has had the pleasure to be seen by. He is an amazing doctor and very personable! He’s kind and gentle with my daughter and when he’s in the room with us his total attention and focus is on us. He never makes us feel rushed and is very through in explaining all of the medical issues related to her condition. I would definitely recommend Dr. Marcus to friends and family. He is absolutely AMAZING! My son was the victim of a canine attack that resulted in massive disfigurement. Dr. Marcus and others he has hand picked have done the unthinkable. They have given my baby a face again.

I went to Dr. Marcus for a secondary rhinoplasty. My first surgery had been performed by another doctor 20 years prior and I was unhappy with my results. I had consultations with several doctors but had not found one I was confident in until Dr. Marcus. His attention to detail and the time he took to explain his surgical plan put me at ease. My new nose is better than I ever could have imagined! He addressed my concerns and went above and beyond my expectations!

I was referred to Dr. Marcus by another physician, who described him as a "meticulous" surgeon. That was also my experience. In addition, I found him to be a caring professional who explains things understandably; he listens and answers questions. My anxiety was lessened knowing he would be in charge of my surgery. He is supported by an excellent staff (especially Susan Anderson, R.N.). I highly recommend Dr. Marcus.

Dr. Marcus always took time to explain exactly what he was doing and address my concerns. He really listened, and clearly explained why the look I was seeking would or would not work with the structure of my face. We LOVE Dr. Marcus and his team. Susan is a fantastic miracle worker with the calendar. Dr. Marcus is a world-renowned magician of a surgeon. But, what really sets him apart is his kindness with his patients and their families. His bedside manner is warm and caring and he never made me feel uncomfortable asking my 1000 mama-bear questions. He operated on my baby girl twice before her second birthday and we have one last surgery this spring. He prepared me for what to expect and was with us ever

I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Marcus and staff. Everyone was exceptionally kind and willing to go above and beyond. Since having a rhinoplasty done, I feel more confident than ever. I have received compliments left and right. I could not have been happier with the results. My nose looks as natural as can be, and fits to my face (not the other way around). Our son had to have CVR surgery at 6 months of age. My wife and I felt as if our sweet son's life was in danger. We were nervous, emotional, scared and sad.
Immediately before sedation, Dr. Marcus met with us. His calmness, kindness, professionalism and confidence was so reassuring to us as he was about to have our little boy's fragile life literally in his hands.

Dr. Marcus and his staff have a way of making us feel that our child is the only child they are seeing today. Dr. Marcus always spends plenty of time talking with us and never seems to rush off to another patient, yet his appointments always run true to time.
