Dr. Neher's defensive attitude
I took issue with giving me result of colonoscopy immediately after waking up from anesthesia, and expecting me to be coherent and remember all their post-op instruction and result; but have a policy that won't allow me to leave the hospital alone because they don't feel I have normal functioning of my faculties. Complained to ombudsman, who questioned Dr. Neher. Dr. Neher called me and was obviously annoyed and defensive, from the beginning of the call. Didn't expect that.

Kind, patient doctor
Firstly, they squeezed me in for a next day appt. (!) due to my concerns, which was amazing. We waited a bit once we got there but the practice is down to one doctor, so that is certainly understandable. Once we met with Dr. Neher, he couldn't have been nicer or more patient. He answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. Very grateful to have found this doc and this practice. Highly recommend.

This was, by far, the most stigmatizing experience I had ever had with a physician. I have an anxiety disorder, but also was experiencing very real, physical symptoms that had landed me in the ER twice in a month. Stomach distention, nausea, severe burning in the stomach and throat, severe vomiting of stomach acid. The ER diagnosed me with GERD and put me on two meds that helped tremendously until I could get in with a GI doctor. Upon my visit, Dr. Neher asked me what I take Lexapro for. I told him. He proceeded to say, "have you ever tried not worrying so much?" Then he said "I want to choose my words wisely here..." and proceeded to tell me everything is fine and that this entire situation is just my anxiety disorder. I essentially paid for and wasted time on an appointment for someone to stigmatize and disregard me for 20 minutes. Not to mention his attitude in general is just awful. Dr. Neher needs training for his bias against those with mental illness immediately.

Heavily Stigmatizes Against Mental Health – Jul 17, 2021

1-20-18 A longtime friend took me to my Colonoscopy. I was wheeled into the procedure room and she took elevator to the first floor to get coffee and wait. Before she made it to the first floor they were buzzing her back to recovery and said I was done. I don’t believe I ever had the procedure done. It take more than 3 minutes to preform a colonoscopy.

They don't call back, are not understanding, rude. Very poor office staff service. If you're having an emergency forget about it. No sense of urgency, nothing

I Do not think Dr. Neher likes being a doctor. He is impatient with questions and rolls his eyes when asked one. I was kept waiting for almost 2 hours then treated like he was doing me a favor by seeing me Cleveland Clinic should give him his walking papers as they are a fine Hospital and do not need physicians like him.

I saw this doctor a few years ago while in the hospital for an internal bleed. I also had to follow up with him. After several scopes and tests, he continued to dismiss me and shrug his shoulders. He said my bleed “is like finding a needle in a haystack.” I had all kinds of symptoms. I switched to CC downtown, and they found the malignant cancerous tumor in my intestines. This doctor missed it for an entire year! I also was dx with sjogrens, POTS/Dysautonomia, and Polyneuropathy. Stay away!!

I waited OVER 2 hours in a room for him. Finally he burst in, did not appear to be listening to anything I was saying, and told me my issues (that I have had for over 10 years) were caused by stress. Needless to say, I was anything but thrilled. I am now seeing a competent Dr. who is taking me seriously and actually values my time as important.

I went in for an endoscopy and suffered from stomach pain, then started having black tarry stool a few days later. This symptom often indicates an ulcer - internal bleeding from the stomach coming out in the feces. I called Dr. Neher's office for help and they said Dr. Neher was unavailable until several hours later. They never called back, so I had to go to a different doctor to deal with this problem that was most likely caused by Dr. Neher's endoscopy. Unconscionable!

Lousy. Referred by incompetent Dr Oragel. Each physician never returns phone calls. WEEKS before you hear from them.

Man of very few words. Rolled his eyes at me when he asked me a question and did not like the answer.. Automatically sent a prescription to a local pharmacy without asking me. I did not want it to go there. It was a hassle getting it changed... I ended up getting 1 prescription thinking I was getting 3 by what he said... Never again
