Dr. Jeffrey Norris, MD

I highly recommend Dr Norris. I have BPH and Dr Norris has cared for me several years. He explained the possibility of bladder failure if I continued to rely on meds to control urination. I was caught off guard after needing a catheter post transperineal biopsy which for a while lead me to question his care as it was unexpected and little info was given about living with a catheter; however, I was wrong in my initial response. Dr Norris is a great Doctor and will look out for your best interests and I am very confident in his ability. Dr's face lots of unfair criticism and live with ever increasing administrative costs while seldom getting inflation adjusted fee schedules from Medicare. Dr Norris suggested a HoLEP procedure at Northwestern Medicine given my prostate size conditions and I am looking forward to resolving my issues. New catheter wearers should receive written instructions to review as it is a life changing event and can be very stressful initially.

I will not bore you with too many details but I had blood in my urine that started on April 1. It grew more and more severe. On the 23rd I was finally admitted to the hospital. I knew what needed to be done and that was a hard cystoscopy. I had been told that by a nurse at the ER of the hospital. Dr Norris sent me to the hospital on the morning of April 23. There I laid until April 25. As mt daughter was leaving from a visit, she bumped into a doctor who told my daughter that they were preparing to release me the next morning. My daughter instructed her that I was there to be cured; not sent home. By some act of God, I was told and had a hard cystoscopy that night. A tumor was removed and the bleeding immediately stopped but not until my hemoglobin was down to five which extended my stay. During all of this time, I am not sure who was controlling the shots here. I asked Dr Norris why it took so long and he couldn’t give me an answer.

I have seen dr Norris for ten years or longer never had a problem till last visit I started having a problem when I saw him explained everything he told me I could take medication for issues I never was examined just urine test . I had a issue with prescription when I called back the office said he never wrote a script for the medicine I had received from pharmacy. Then I received bill for about 300 dollars I thought it was a mistake when I made my inquiries I was told i was considered a new patient because I haven’t been there in three years and that the state of Illinois requires them to bill me as new , I did fill out updated paper work as new patient but after talking to my other doctors they said that was not state law that they are required to charged me as new patient. I called and complained numerous times and now they it to a collection agency . I will be checking the state law. thank you dr Norris

Dr. Norris is very patient in explaining issues and resolutions. He is kind and very knowledgeable and wants to ensure all of your questions are answered. A top notch physician. The nurses and office staff at UroPartners on Golf Road in Des Plaines are all wonderful too.

Very professional, but down to earth. He listened and gave me answers to my many questions.

This is not my physician but unfortunately who I was stuck with on call. He could have not been more annoyed to be bothered on his scheduled call and was berating. I called less than 48hours after surgery to share concerns post-surgery (just like the post-discharge instructions stated) and he could not have been more annoyed with me "bothering" him. Don't understand how this guy has a patient base.

Dr. Norris is an extremely competent Urologist. He is patient, kind and really tries to work with the patient.

Dr. Jeffrey Norris has been my doctor for about 21 years and he has always answered questions or concerns. He is the most professional and polite doctor I know. He is also very busy with numerous patients, but still manages to take his time with you.
