Amazing surgeon!
I seen Dr. Lewis after being diagnosed with a large meningioma and being transferred to the hospital he was at. I was discharged and then seen him as outpatient about a week later. I was very scared and nervous as I was 32 at the time and a wife and mom to two little girls. The day of the appointment, Dr. Lewis was patient, thoroughly explained everything to me, and answered all of mine, my husband and my sisters questions. He did not rush us and was very upfront with all possible outcomes of the surgery and took the best approach possible. The surgery turned from 6hours to 9 hours and I was in the best possible hands. Even though I had complications after (not to do with ANYTHING he did) he followed my care and was a constant participant in my healing journey and still is. I highly recommend him and I am so thankful for him and the Lord for seeing me through!

Terrible. Ignored me for 6 months as my brain degraded. Now i have permanent damage. He also told his nurse "why doesn’t she just find a new doctor?" Which i would have been happy to if i had known that. So, yeah...avoid him. Also avoid UNMH if possible.

In January my husband, a veteran with very severe Lumbar Stenosis, made an initial appointment with Dr. Jeremy Lewis for April 30, 2020, the first available date. On 4/15/20 we called because of Covid-19 to determine if the appointment was still on. We were told that, due to the severity of the injury, Dr. Lewis wanted to see him in person on 4/30. Wow! On 4/29 we called to get directions and were told that the appointment had just been cancelled because Dr. Lewis had just quit and “the clinic was about to let us know.” Four months of hope gone. In those four months my husband went from walking to crawling due to the pain. This physician does not abide by his Hippocratic oath. Avoid him like the plague.

The Very Best! Dr. Lewis at first sent me to pain clinic to see if surgery could be avoided but no such luck, however, Dr. Lewis made my surgery a breeze and the wound is healing fantastically. He took lots of time with me before the operation....showed me the MRI and explained exactly what he would be doing. I developed a blood clot after the surgery and he is treating me for that now. I would recommend him to anyone...he is the best!

Was referred to Dr. Lewis in October 2017. After all the normal tests we decided to proceed with surgery in Dec. before Christmas of 2017. Diagnosis was a large Meningioma. Dr. Lewis was meticulous in reviewing all aspects of surgery including post surgical expectations. He is very direct and a wonderful DRY sense of humor. I could not imagine this surgery with another doctor or another hospital. I've had more difficulty with a thorn in my finger than this surgery. He & entire staff were great.

Last year my mom fell twice in the same spot on her head and neck. She's 88 and Dr. Lewis was her neurosurgeon and was so compassionate and caring. My mom just fell again, same place on head and neck and I wouldn't go to anyone else!

AMAZING SURGEON w/ a HUGE HEART. My fear, not brain surgery, but how my 7yr old son was going to handle it all. He had so many worries, I'm his best friend, his mommy! Dr. Lewis took time chatting with my son at every visit, answering questions & promising he would personally talk to him post surgery. As we left my pre op appt my son said "mom, I'm not worried anymore, i know Dr.Lewis is going to take care of you!". This made all the difference in my mindset going into surgery & my recovery.

Dr. Lewis is absolutely amazing! Was very straight forward and to the point. Helped by trying to avoid surgery but unfortunately it was not the case. Made feel very comfortable day of surgery was on time and very professional also came in post surgery to talk with me. I would recommend him to anyone needing disk replacement!

Didn't take time or cared to go over MRI and show any interest of helping me. I was in the room with him 3 min. Or less before pushing me off. No compassion or experience.
