Awful
He told me my joint and skin issues were my weight. Had the issues before I was fat, not that he asked. I shut down and gave up. Told me I needed to stretch. Said that even he as a doctor has to stretch. Always thought I should have been a doctor so I didn’t have to stretch… I have had three major orthopedic surgeries (and lost weight to a normal BMI) since I saw him because someone finally figured out what was going on. Spoiler: NOT MY WEIGHT. Perhaps I should have informed my orthopedic surgeon that Dr Sharp says the surgeries he performs are pointless as all anyone has to do is stretch like a doctor. My issue wasn’t autoimmune, but it was a genetic condition he should have recognized had he not been so focused on my fatness. Waste of money & time. Perhaps if you’re an in shape male you will have a different experience.

Left appointment crying
At the first appointment I thought he was an average dr but nice enough. I recently Had a follow up appt and left crying due to his dismissal in my symptoms, saying they Were psychological and telling me My other drs were horrible and stupid - even though all my other drs graduated and attended a lot more esteemed and prestigious universities. The dr eventually got so frustrated at me that he walked out of my appointment. Can’t recommend him to my worst enemy.

Refreshing bedside manner
I saw Dr. Sharp for lower back pain. He connected seemingly unrelated symptoms to explore diagnosis. He took my pain seriously and explains options and next steps clearly, and has a conversational and collaborative bedside manner. 2 locations to see him and scheduling has been easy with the office staff. Referral for imaging has been difficult, but I put that on the imaging provider, not this office.

This doctor is totally closed minded. When I had concerns about the medication he said I could try if I wanted to he told me that I was disrespectful and out of line. I am 65 years old. Three of my other doctors told me that it was great that I wasn’t on the medication that this doctor is prescribing and when I questioned this doctor about it he totally closed off I would not recommend this position ever

Dr. Sharp was very personable and caring. We need more information to be able to construct a medical plan, but I feel as though he has the knowledge and interest in my case to make all this happen for me.
