Dr. Jerome Yokiel, MD

Dr. Yokiel found the exact problem that was causing the pain in my lower back. I was fearful of injections due to 'old wise tales of years ago' the pain was keeping me from every day life. That was my decision maker to have an injection. Dr. Yokiel was very understanding of my pain and fear. After injection I found that everyday movements and life was much better after the pain was no longer controlling my body. The back problem is still there.. but now manageable. I highly recomend Dr. Yokiel.

My experience was great, he took care of my pain, I could not continue to work without his help. I wish his office had not closed!

If you have been on narcotics for any amount of good time do you not go to Dr. yo keel take the time and research other doctors there are other doctors who will take a look at your records and take a look at what you’re on and take the time to ask you if it’s kept you comfortable and they will be much better for you . Dr. Yukio has already proven that he doesn’t care that you’ve been his patient for a year and he has you on narcotics he won’t show up that is not a doctor that should’ve been given a second chance.

I wish I had known Dr yokiel before I had to back surgeries. I've seen him for over 10 years and will not go to another pain management doctor!

The lobby smelled of stale smoke. There were no posters or pictures on the walls in the halls or in the rooms. The one nurse didn't explain what she was doing and what I was supposed to do, she just assumed I knew. The second nurse stood over me and looked down on me while explaining the drug policy. I felt very uncomfortable. The room was very stark and I really began to feel like I was in a fly-by-night office. I will not go back there nor recommend them.

Dr. Yokiel recommended and initiated a series of three cervical spine injections for pain in my neck. After the second injection, I had a severe reaction. I felt as if the anesthesia did not wear off. I was dizzy, foggy, and in an incredible amount of pain. My neck was swollen and I had pain and numbness in my hands, and weakness in my legs. Dr. Yokiel went out of town, and I ended up in the ER instead where an MRI showed neck spasms. He told me the spasms would subside; that was 3 years ago.

DR. YOKIEL WAS FRIENDLY,HE WAS OK.THE STAFF WAS NOT,SOME STAFF WAS GREAT BUT IT ONLY TAKES ONE TO MAKE IT VERY BAD. THEY TELL YOU SOMETHING THEN SAID THEY NEVER SAID THAT.
