He saved my life when i came in a high fever & pain in abdomen at San Martin Hosp. Thank God he was the surgeon who saved my life. And second time around the colostomy takedown. He explained the reconnection surgery and said it straight forward very lil downtime. Less pain & fast healing. Thank God for Dr.Xu and forever grateful to Dr.Xu.

Dr. Xu performed hiatal hernia surgery that changed my life! Dr. Xu is willing to listen to all of my questions and concerns. The hiatal hernia surgery went smoothly and I was back to work in a week. I no longer have pain and I can sleep through the night. Also, I don’t need proton pump inhibitors anymore. Long term use of PPIs can cause vitamin deficiencies and osteoporosis. I’m so glad I’m not dependent on Tums and omeprazole anymore! Thank you Dr. Xu!

Dr Jimmy Xu is an excellent surgeon. He made me very comfortable to have my procedure done and did not disappoint. I've had robotic surgery before and Dr. Xu's operation was multiples better in recovery!

New patient. Dr. Xu came into the room doesn’t introduce himself. Proceeds to tell me that there is no way something is causing me to be this sick. Do I understand. I said no I don’t understand. I don’t understand what is going on with me. I try to explain what I’ve been going through for two months. He then says he will not do anything for me. There’s three test he would even need done before he even looked at me do I understand. I proceed to let him know. No, I do not understand. He walks out of the room leaves me sitting there he never comes back. His assistant looks at me and doesn’t know where the doctor went . Proceeded to tell me to wait in the room and he will find out. The doctor had no intentions on coming back into the room. What a horrible experience for a new patient that is going through some very difficult medical issues that need to be addressed before the patient dies , I would never recommend this doctor to anybody

dr. xu saw me in this hospital when I was extremely ill. he is to the point and frank, but I appreciated his honesty. I had a good outcome and really thankful dr.Xu was my surgeon.

Dr. Xu saved my life after my colon ruptured. Amazingly he did it with a robot. I'm feeling great after the 2nd surgery to take down the ostomy. Thank you so much Dr. Xu!

Dr. Xu is amazing, deserving of 500 stars if I could. He is open, honest, thorough, and keeps his patient well informed. He is passionate about his work. He gives patient's ample amount of time to ask questions and explains throughly in plain English. When mentioning second opinions Dr. Xu is very understanding and will even encourage to do so. He is willing to work with his patient's to aid them in achieving their goals. Overall excellent surgeon, would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Outstanding outcome.

If i could give NO STARS I would. I would not see this man if he was the only surgeon in Nevada and it was life and death. See anyone but him. He was the on call. He was called because of an emergency. He started the discussion with a harrassed hostile tone stating "This just got thrown on my plate. What exactly do you expect the outcome to be?" When we asked for his colleague, his response was "Oh, she's seen him has she." He refused to call her original surgeon. With an attitude like that, you don't want him to operate on you or a family member.

I developed a hernia in Feb. and the emergency room doctor suggested a few surgeons. Dr. Xu was not one of the doctors recommended and being all the ones that were, was busy, I took a chance and made an appointment. I made a great choice because he was prompt ,to the point, explained the pros and cons honestly and the wait time was minimal. Mar. 8 was the surgery. After surgery I walked on my own and only needed Ibuprofen. I am back to work and feel great. Thank you Dr Xu for a job well done.

I had Bi-Lateral Abdominal Inguinal Hernias causing need f immediate medical care, so I went to the hospital Emergency Center. Subsequent to testing and evaluations by Doctors, I met Dr. Xu. He discussed the options clearly and concisely. I was in extreme pain, so I elected to have surgery, The doctor operated successfully and in fewer than twelve hours, I was walking around the hospital corridors! Since the operation, pain has been at a absolute minimum.
