Disbelief
I am disappointed to say that my doctor of 5 years refused to help me Tuesday during my appointment a Wayne Health at 400 Mack in Detroit. Dr. Jira Coumarbatch. He owned a private practice. So when he left his practice, my family followed him to Wayne Health Network.To my surprise, I was in the middle of asking him questions about myself during my second visit with him and he completely turned his demeanor towards me and stated the following, 'I'm confused. Do you want me to help you or not?' I was in shock and did not respond. After that he proceeded to tell me he could no longer be my doctor and he would find me a new one at Wayne health. His bed side manor went 'totally left.' I'm still trying to figure out what happened. I feel totally disrespected and dismissed. He even refused to finish our business together that day by not going over my CT & Ultrasound exam that he sent me to or referring me to an allergist which is what I was there to do. He told me my next doctor would have

The office staff is professional and knowledgeable about their roles in providing healthcare. Recently, I had to get a reassignment of specialist and the office coordinator inputted the information in the insurance referral database and assisted me in setting up an appointment with the specialist. The confusing process was made simple with the help of the office coordinator. Dr. Coumarbatch is personable and excellent at giving care to his patients. I have recommended others to this office.
