Compassionate Doctor
Dr Kragt takes the time to listen to me and gives me a thorough but understandable explanation. I have been a patient of his for over 20 years. I now drive 30 minutes to see him. He has given me excellent care over the years. I highly recommend Dr. Kragt.

Pre-op Exam Very Bad
Waited 6 months for knee replacement during pre-op exam EKG in office not working, sent to Hospital for exam, didn't tell me I needed to be scheduled walked in and by chance they took me, my EKG had red flag, he never called me, day of surgery my Orthopedic Dr called in Cardiologist and they scheduled stress test, my surgery was canceled, two weeks before when I had my pre-op he could have picked up the phone and avoided all this, they found a blockage in my heart, and had to wait 6 weeks to get back on schedule, all this anxiety and pain could have been avoided had he just cared and done his job, needless to say after many years as his patient, he is no longer my Doctor, shut me out of the portal as soon as I changed Doctors and only sent new Doctor my last labs and colonosocopy report, no vaccination records, nothing else, how terrible to not send everything for the new Doctor to know my history after so many years as his patient, terrible, be ashamed Dr. Kragt!!!

I have a chronic condition impacting my heart. I stay motivated in my healthy ways through quarterly blood screening, a practice my previous doctor advocated. I had to fight through the phone to get a lipid panel for my second quarter visit as he said the cost wouldn't be covered. For my third quarter visit, despite agreeing to this testing during my second quarter visit, it wasn't included in the order and after 2 weeks of back and forth, he refused to order the testing saying it wasn't medically necessary. Note: My insurance has a very low negotiated rate and a high deductible...thus the cost of this does not hit him or my insurance. It is fully paid by me. Despite being a nice guy in office visits, don't ever question his recommendations. He will dig in his heels and force you down his path. After telling him we were not aligned in my treatment plan I that I would be looking for another doctor, he immediately cancelled my appointment and shut down my portal access, removing

Horrible Dr. misdiagnosed my Dad as kidney infection 3 times with drugs to find out months later it was bladder cancer. Told my Mom she needed a hip replacement due to groin pain, ended up it was a blood clot that traveled to her Lungs. Ripped my meniscus in both knees, 3 appts. Kept telling me it was arthritis, giving me drugs, wouldn’t refer me to an orthopedic. Finally a Dr in the practice gave me a referral and the orthopedic performed surgery and said it looked like a bomb exploded in my knee Please stay away

I met Dr Kragt when he was in another practice. I had to leave him when my insurance was no longer accepted. Now that he's on his own, his practice accepts my insurance and I'm happy to be back to him

Dr Kragt has been my primary care physician for over 15 years. He is a good listener and provides excellent care. Unlike many doctors who are in a hurry to move on to the next patient, he spends the time necessary to properly evaluate your health or reason for your visit, and makes recommendations based on his experience. He communicates in a friendly but direct manner and discusses meaningful alternatives. I would highly recommend Dr Kragt to others.
