Avoid this Doctor- your life depends on it
I would NOT recommend Dr Coniglio. He ruined my life. I went to his office several times with a swollen tonsil. His nurse practitioner put a scope up my nose down my throat said I was good to go no prob. Saw Dr Coniglio and he said I was fine as well. I was concerned since I had stage 1 breast cancer ten years prior asked about a MRI or a Ct scan . I was told I did not need one . I was still not satisfied called back to ask again receptionist was rude and they said I did not need one . I pursued it further had a ultrasound done of my neck was told I was fine by Dr Coniglio. Imagine the harrow to learn I had stage 4 cancer 3 months later. It was in the very spot I came to see Dr Coniglio for. I am only 56 , you ruined my life. I have a brand new grandson. I would steer clear of this office and Dr Coniglio , your life depends on it .

Pain maker
He has ruined the Quality of my life! It has been since March 19th 2016 since the surgery I had with John Coniglio. He has reduced the quality of my life. Because of his surgery I have pain in my neck, Pain in my throat, ear pain, grit my teeth, numbness in my neck and have difficulty swallowing my food. I will have this for the rest of my life. I had a lesion on my tongue. The MRI showed that the lesion was cancer and was confine to my tongue. He removed my lymph nodes from my neck for a precaution. He never discussed the side effects of this to me. Had I known the pain I have been enduring since my surgery I would have never have had this done. He also removed a gland next to my throat.. Why he removed this was never explained to me. To me he is nothing but a second rate surgeon. I had never had any pain in my face or never had this problem swallowing my food. He did this to me. I will have this until the day I die.

Dr Coniglio took exceptional care of my husband from start to finish. He performed a very difficult surgery and successfully removed a tumor in a very compromised area. We are forever thankful for Dr Coniglio. It was hard not being in the hospital with my husband due to Covid, but I knew he was in good hands.

I was bothered by a continuously growing polyp on my left vocal chord . The polyp affected many parts of my system , and in doing so had specialists and myself confused as to the etymology of my symptoms . I spent thousands of dollars and went through so many needless surgeries and office visits . In two visits the polyp was found and removed and sent to biopsy . The Head and Neck Center at Westfall is the cleanest Rochester medical facility I’ve been in ( including Strong, Highland, and General Hospitals ), with the sweetest and most down to earth receptionist , nurses and anesthesiologist. Dr Coniglio was straight and to the point and has the bed side manner you read our country’s forefathers had . I very much recommend to anyone looking for real results , real fast . Thank you folks SO MUCH

Dr Conigilo saved my life. After being erroneously diagnosed with cancer of the tonsils by Dr Chaffee in Utica, NY. Dr Coniglio discovered that I had stage 4 cancerous tumor on my lower tongue. Coniglio and Dr Miller jointly removed the tumor and all infected lymph glands. After chemo and radiation I am cancer free today. Hit my 5 year mark this year..2018.

My experiences with Doctor John Coniglio and his staff were that he was unknowledgeable of the matter at hand, dishonest in his billing practices, unprofessional in his referral methods, arrogant in his recommendations, and then later spiteful in his attempts to collect funds that should not have been owes by me as his patient. The lack of professionalism and medical expertise of both Dr. Coniglio and his staff were very apparent in my dealings with him and his office. He should be avoided.

Dr. Coniglio operated on my husband to remove a tumor on his parathyroid gland. He explained everything to him ahead of time. Right after his surgery, Dr. Coniglio came down to talk to me about how the surgery went. Everything went exceptionally well. He also was my follow up doctor for my throat cancer surgery. He is a very thorough doctor. We recommend him highly.! .

I thought Dr. Coniglio was a good Doctor until I developed skin issues serious enough to see Dr.Mark Goldgeier a dermatologist. I had been in all summer with rashes. I had to cancel 2 appointments. I get a letter stating I was no longer a patient, I still need ear , throat Doctor. I called, he told staff "She is no patient here don't take her messages" He had no compassion or would not let me explain. He was mean, callous I would had paid, but I found a much nicer Doctor.I Don't want Coniglio

i saw dr coniglio's physician assistant on 6 May 2016. She was nice enough, but did not help me with my ear blockage and tinnitus. They charged me $130.00. I got a letter from my insurance company in a few days. BC/BS said i should have only been charged $110.00. I called the Dr's office and the billing woman was condescending and dismissive. She said i would get a refund when she got around to it. Well, its been 2 months now and nothing. I hope she feels like getting around to it soon.

His attention to detail, and his explanation of the process was excellent. His follow up was superb, and the effort to give his best was much appreciated. After surgery his explanation to my wife on what had taken place was excellent.
