Dr. John Guo, MD

I am a 58 y/o man who has likely struggled with attention deficit disorder throughout my life. Trying to learn more about it and understand what I could to lead a more productive life and Dr. Guo's assessment came out as something like 'work's not fun, you just have to do it anyway.' I've done better than 90% of folks when it comes to 'work' if you're gauging by money. I've been successful and could likely do more but this guy doesn't have any answers that require some research, digging in, or even going through a process. He seems happy to sit back and pass judgment. Retire and let someone with some energy and ambition take your seat, my friend; you just have to do it.

I honestly had preconceptions about what our meetings may be (what meds have you taken, here try these, nice to meet you). That is how most appointments for non-theraphy sessions have gone in the past, but I love Dr. Guo. You can tell he knows his stuff as he has been doing it for a long time, but he still have progressive ways of thinking. He always makes time for me, even if he is busy, and has gladly shared some outside reading that has proven very helpful. He's a nice guy.
