My brother had a cyst on the right side of his brain to start with he has had symptoms of vertigo vomiting no balance so we went to see John. First appt we talked about what could be done and was sent for an mri we have had quite a few of them sense. We went back to see him and was told the cyst would be an easy fix the Doctor said it had been there for quite awhile. So we set up for the surgery he come out of it feeling ok a month went by and he noticed some changes and was feeling better. We had a return visit and had to go for another mri to see how things were. We went to the appt and his nurse told us there was a problem there was fluid filling up the cavity she told us there were a few things that could be done and thats the last we have heard from anyone it has been at least two months. He has been leaving messages to no avail no return calls not shure what will be next but I told him there should be an attorney involved. I don’t believe this is a good surgeon. Not recommended

Was supposed to have surgery done three weeks ago. Got canceled morning of surgery because an aneurysm was found when he was looking at my scans the night before. Went in for an angiogram a week later to see the aneurysm. Was told that it was a complicated one and he would need to speak to another department to see about what the plan would be. It’s been two weeks and no phone call. My mom flew down here from Texas to help me with the kids before the initial surgery was cancelled. She will need to be flying back to Texas here in a few short weeks and now I don’t know if/when I’ll be able to have the tumor removed if I don’t have help for my recovery. Getting my PCP to get me a referral to a different neurosurgeon not affiliated with Centura. Hopefully I can get the tumor and aneurysm taking care of soon. I should have gotten a 2nd opinion after the first initial surgery took about five weeks to schedule and my calls and e-mails were ignored.

Dr. Hudson did my mvd surgery on 9/19 /19 and I woke up from surgery with no TN pains just mild surgical pain. Dr. Hudson was very kind and took lots of time explaining the surgery and answering all of our questions. I will see Dr. Hudson again whenever I need a neurosurgeon. Dr Hudson is a kind man and talented surgeon.

Had back surgery in May of 2015. Was the worst mistake I could have ever made by choosing this doctor. Several times I got into arguements with the staff over copays and they were wrong 100% of the time. There were several other times I called and either never got a call back or were very snoty over the phone. Prior to the surgery I had several appointments rescheduled cause Doc would get called into some emergency surgery. I finally had my surgery and had my first post op exam but ended up being with the MA cause once again the Doc got called to a emergency surgery. I was supposed to be sent to PT for my back and never got a call for it. I was also supposed to have 2 more post op visits with the Doc and once again very got them cause he would get called for an emergency surgery. My final post op consisted of a call with the MA. I wish I had waited just a bit longer and done more research before choosing this Doc.

I just wanted to say that the treatment I have received from Dr Hudson was absolutely horrible. Between the opinion of “ when you came here we didn’t even know if we’d get paid, but I work for the hospital and get paid anyway “ & three surgeries in which I had to go elsewhere to have everything Dr. Hudson did undone and correctly fixed. Absolutely horrible customer service and treatment. Will never return or do I believe others should have to go through the mistakes and attitude of this man.

I would give Dr. Hudson and his direct staff an A+!! The only drawback is the number of people that are involved in scheduling procedures. The office staff members need some training on meeting customers expectations and how to do their work more efficiently.
