Top notch diagnostician and clinician, and nice
I had two cataract surgeries by Dr. Mastrobattista about a year apart, highly successful as many are these days, but that is not why I recommend him. In examining me, he detected very early macular degeneration and referred me to a retinal specialist. That specialist, who is world renowned, was extremely impressed that Dr. Mastrobattista had picked up a very small incipient problem that he seemed to think most community practitioners would have missed. I am in turn grateful to Dr. Mastrobattista for getting me somewhere that gives me a high chance of preserving my vision. The office is low tech and homey in a refreshing way. The focus is where it should be on excellent diagnosis and treatment.
