Dr. John McInerney, DO

Dr. Mac is really an amazing Physician and human being. He goes above and beyond for his patients, and his bedside manner is like no other. He always puts patient care at the top of the list, and has helped SO many women in our area. He's the best!

Finding someone who you trust with your body and your babies' well-being is difficult, especially with all of the massive practices that churn you out without really taking the time to ask the right questions or give you the opportunity to ask your own and explore follow-up questions. Dr. Mac is such a great combination of everything good in OB/GYNY medicine (and practitioners in general). He can only be in one place at a time, so sometimes you'll have to wait or reschedule because someone is in labor or has an emergency. I never mind rescheduling or waiting because when it is my emergency or my labor, he is ALWAYS there. If I forget to ask a question in the office or it pops in my head on the way home, I know I can call and he will get back to me as soon as he can. Sure, you might have to wait and he runs behind often but you know why? Because he takes the time each patient needs when they need it. It is excellent allocation of time management to be present with your patients. Love!

Dr. Mac always made us feel comfortable, welcome and is highly knowledgeable. His staff is warm and welcoming when we came to the office, making stressful moments a breeze. When we have had concerns or questions Dr. Mac was more than willing to talk us through them on the phone no matter the day or time. Overall a great experience, my wife and I are so happy she chose Dr. Mac!

After starting my first pregnancy elsewhere with a big group of OBs, I arrived at my 6th month in pregnancy not having met all of the OBs that would potentially deliver my first baby. I felt as if I were taking a number at a deli and not being cared for as a patient or person. I asked Dr. McInerney to take me on and he did. I have three children and all of my pregnancies have been under the care of Dr. Mac. I love this man. I feel so comfortable with him, so at ease. He takes the time to educate his patients so that you are more informed about your options and your body leaving his office than entering it. Keep in mind, schlepping to Palos or Homer Glen is no small matter for me - I live in Crystal Lake. That being said, I trust no one more with my lady life than Dr. Mac. I am so grateful for him. Lest we forget the support resources, Dr. McInerney's entire office staff is kind and accommodating. They are wonderful and make a great team.

I have been with Dr Mac for two years now. I can honestly say he saved my life. I came to him after years of dealing with a former physician who neglected my symptoms. Dr Mac diagnosed me within minutes of meeting me and immediately began treating me. Him and his staff are now working with my husband and I through our fertility journey and they have been nothing but supportive. The entire staff, from the front desk to the nurses, are amazing! I will continue to recommend Dr Mac and his staff to anyone that needs a new doctor.

Dr. McInerney is very kind, gentle, personable and efficient. He takes all the time needed to complete your visit and makes you as a patient feel comfortable.

Dr McInerney's staff is unfortunately a nightmare to work with. His office is a revolving door of miserable women who are ruining his practice. He used to be very caring but along with his poor staff choices, his bedside manner has grown unprofessional. Although I had been a patient for years, I've recently left his practice as his staff are so awful to deal with, coupled with a few terrible experiences with him--I could not stay with this practice. Wished I had switched long ago!

I've been through it all with dr. Mac-- 3 miscarriages, 3 births & infertility. He has ALWAYS been patient, kind and thorough. He always takes his time and answers all questions that I have. I can call him at 2 in the morning (I have- for mastitis!) and he never makes me feel like I am bothering him. He truly cares for his patients. He was able to pinpoint the cause of my miscarriages and supported me through my 3 pregnancies by sending me for Freqeunt monitoring. Can't say enough good things!

Dr. Mac is patient, funny and just a great Dr. He goes above and beyond and really takes care of the whole patient. He will refer you to other specialists if he thinks you need to see one. You will be well taken care of. His wife Cabrini works with him and she is absolutely beautiful and such a wonderful lady. I like that they make you feel like you have known them for years. Love them so much. Dr. Mac suggested ablation to me and it was the best decision ever!
