Disrespectful of Patient's Time
I have been to Dr. Norris a few times now and he is always running 30 - 45 minutes late. I booked the first appointment thinking he would be on time but he was still 30 minutes late. I asked staff and they told me he books 4 appointments at a time which ensures that he will always be late. I find this very disrespectful as I have other things to do.

I highly recommend Dr.Norris and his staff. I was desperate to get a heart ablation procedure because my afib was out of control and the medication was no longer working. His staff got me into to see him right away and made sure that all the steps necessary to have the procedure were completed quickly. Dr. Norris is a skilled and an excellent heart doctor. I felt at ease with him as a Christian.

Dr. John Norris and his staff are excellent. They really care about their patients, and take as much time as necessary to answer your questions. I just had an aortic valve replaced after five years of Dr. Norris monitoring my situation. He knew exactly when it was necessary to proceed. He helped me select a surgeon, Dr. Blaine Heric, who was terrific and took me through the open heart process. His care was also phenomenal. They worked as a team, and I was back to walking over 5 miles a day within 4 weeks of my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. John Norris as a Cardiologist, and I am so fortunate to having found him.

I am so thankful for Dr. Norris and his staff for taking care of me. The surgery I had has made me feel so good. I have no heart discomfort and my dizziness has disappeared which makes life so much more enjoyable. Dr. Norris is such a caring and kind person and I appreciate the prayers when I am stressed. His staff has been professional and kind also. They make you feel comfortable. I have and I will l continue to refer people to Dr. Norris whom I have complete confidence.

I first met Dr John Norris when I was trying to control my afib around 2002. He continued to keep me functional until around 2008 when my afib could no longer be controlled by my meds. During that time he had to reset set my heart on several occasions successfully. In 2008, he successfully preformed an abalation. The abalation had my heart in rhythm until late 2021. In late 2021, I started to go out of rhythm. He successfully reset my heart on several occasion. The time that the reset worked continued to get shorter and shorter. In late 2022, he performed my second abalation and it appears to be working. I am almost 82 years old due to DR Norris's efforts. I recommend him as highly as I can. If you have questions, contact me. Jim Rustin

I have been a patient of Dr. Norris for a little over a year now. He performed an Ablation on me in Nov 2020. So far, I am Afib free. (I hope it lasts) He is a very friendly Doctor, and offers good advice. The office staff is great especially Taylor the PA. She actually returns calls! One very small complaint. His website is in dire need of an update.

I had a non-invasive cardiac ablation procedure performed by Dr. Norris about 5 weeks ago. This is the longest time I've gone without having an episode of arrhythmia that I can remember. I wish I would have had this procedure done a long time ago. I feel great and I've been back to work for about 3 weeks now. I'm looking forward to many many years of living without an irregular heartbeat. Thanks to everyone at Pinellas Arrhythmia Associates!

I left his practice after two years. Even when I knew from the beginning I was not a Heart patient, because I had just an episode of cardiac failure due to lung clogging, he made me believe I was, and even told me I had a heart attack. He made me undergo to many expensive tests, and after 2 years, he ordered a heart monitor to further enhance his profits, making me go the next day for a monitor placement, made by one of his workers in 5 minutes, and charged me another $60 specialist visit after having to drive 30 minutes again to his practice. The monitor manufacturer sent me another bill who I was not aware I had to pay. He knew due to COVID I was out of my job for 6 months. My credit got ruined after that. AVOID THIS GREEDY DOCTOR AND HIS HEARTLESS PRACTICE. STAY AWAY!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Norris for several years now. He has always treated me with truth, kindness and compassion. For years he told me that the best cure for my particular cardiac issues was, simply, weight loss via proper diet and exercise. That message from Dr. Norris, delivered kindly and firmly, never varied from year to year despite my rationalizations. Finally, last year, along with my spouse, I joined Weight Watchers, and over the course of 14 months I lost 65 pounds … a pound or so per week, no magic or pills, just doing what the doctor ordered. And, coincidence or not, I just had my best cardiac exam in a decade, and I’m no longer clinically obese. Dr. Norris shows compassion, and speaks truth, and I’m grateful for both. Thank you.

From the get-go and, after visiting with two different cardiologists, I was most impressed with Dr. Norris recognition and understanding of my AFIB condition. As he said, "The Cardiology Doctors you've seen so far are very good Doctors. There focus, however, is plumbing. What you need is an electrician." This simple statement led to a careful evaluation, including less medication and, a thorough understanding of the root cause of my issue. In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic Dr. Norris and his team planned and organized an approach to treatment. Despite necessary restrictions due to the state's virus lock-down, the execution went exactly as planned - no surprises! On that note, let me say Dr. Norris staff is professional and attentive. They have a great record for follow-up and communication. I have enjoyed the confidence provided by their excellent care. At this writing, my ablation has been successfully completed and I am well into recovery. Less than ten days after the operation,

Dr. Norris and his team are exceptional, and I could not be happier with the results. I truly appreciate Dr. Norris' caring dedication, expertise, comprehensive medical knowledge, unflagging skill, and remarkable abilities when it comes to addressing the complexities of AFIB, cardiac arrhythmia, and the intricate balance of the electrical signals in the heart. I had the easy part - "eat less and move more." Dr. Norris and the compassionate members of his excellent team always take the time to answer my questions, and never make me feel that they are in a rush to get to the next patient. A visit to the office is supportive and reinforces my belief that I am in the best possible hands. There are never any unanswered questions, doubt, or confusion. With Dr. Norris' help and encouragement, along with the excellent support of his team and God's grace, I have been to achieve a healthy weight, a sustained normal sinus rhythm, and feel that I have a new lease on life.

I take great comfort knowing that Dr. Norris is my heart doctor. His reputation as a seasoned physician and a caring person precede him very appropriately - online and offline. Amy, Nikki, Caitlin and the rest of his professional team make me feel good going in, in part because they seem hardworking and not over their heads with the daily office tasks such as billing/reschedule calls/etc. It's not a large team or office but they've been great about appointment scheduling and wait times. I think particularly with Specialists that's a nice thing. Look up Dr. Norris' credentials online. I've been told he is basically 'The Best' when it comes to Arrythmia conditions. Lobby is comfortable and has TV showing well produced short health segments. Clean patient rooms Staff is professional. Parking is very close to office doors. Very close to Morton Plant clwr Hospital.

When I first saw Dr. Norris I was a little nervous about a fib because I didn't know that much about it. But Dr. Norris and his staff took the time to explain everything about the care and medicine ( Tikosyn) and the procedure ( Ablation) to me which made me a lot more comfortable. After my Ablation procedure I have felt so much better and feel like I have my life back. Thank you so much Dr. Norris and your wonderful staff.
