Absolutely impressed
Dr. Politz was very down to earth. He explained everything in layman's terms. He made sure that I understood everything he said. I also found out how observant he is. He noticed a tiny motorcycle on my charm bracelet and mentioned something about me riding motorcycles. That proved to me that he pays attention to his patients and is not caught up on the fact that he is a doctor. He is human like the rest of us and lets you know that, and at the same time,, he is very confident in what he does. Thank you, Dr P, for making me feel more comfortable in what is about to happen.

Horrible experience going into surgery with this doctor who refused to answer the questions our nurse said to ask. He advised she could come do the surgery then. The patient was in tears going into the surgery suite. The nurses were very nervous about him and apologized once he left assuring us he was a great surgeon. No one should be made to feel this bad while being wheeled into surgery by a doctor who doesn't care.

Dr. Politz shoots straight.
I ask a lot of questions of doctors because I want to be as fully informed as possible. Dr. Politz patiently and thoroughly answered them all without being dismissive. He explained things in a way that was easy to understand without being condescending. I appreciated his candor and mutual respect.

Excellent Care
I arrived a few minutes early for the Ultrasound scheduled before my MD visit. I waited less than 5 minutes before US Tech Kelsey called me back. During the exam, Kelsey was friendly & pleasant. It was obvious that she was an experienced professional. My US was finished in less than 15 minutes. My MD appointment wasn’t until 1 hour later, so I was surprised to be shown immediately to an exam room. The nurse who checked me in (sorry, I didn’t get her name) was friendly & funny. After the nurse was done, I waited less than 5 minutes before Dr. Politz arrived. He went over my test results thoroughly, explained symptoms I needed to watch for, told me he was very pleased with my progress — and that I didn’t need to come back unless I developed problems. No unnecessary tests or follow-up visits! I had “graduated”! How rare is that in today’s medicine?!
