This guy doesn't even deserve a one star. Injected me with an unknown steps since causing me to pass out and fall off of his exam table smashing my face into the floor. Refused any responsibility whatsoever. Through the needle in the trash so nobody can know what it was after he injected me with it. Watch out for this guy

Dr Yes. Office No Heard wonderful things about Dr. as he came highly recommended by a specialist. I called the office, asked if they were accepting new patients, was told yes, but booking 2-3 months out, which I said was fine. The person said she was really busy and asked me if she could call me back that same afternoon, which I said sure. I am a professional scheduler in my line of work so I understand that things can get busy. 2 days passed and no phone call back from anyone. I called on day 3 to follow up and was told by the same person that had promised to call me back 2 days ago that Dr is now not accepting new patients for 6 months and the person would not make an exception based even though she (or anyone in the office) failed to call me back 2 days earlier as committed. She apologized but didn't try to make it right. Today I am told that I am on a wait list for 6 months IF they get any openings. Very frustrated and disappointed in the way the front office is run.

Doctor Sturgess is basically brilliant, although he is very humble. He refers to other doctors as "very, very smart" while he tries to minimize his own talents. He has treated me for 7 years as my PCP and has guided me through every thing from cervical spinal surgery done by a neurological surgeon to helping me get off Vicodin, prescribed for me after a car accident in 1996. His staff is top notch. If you need a general practice doctor, do yourself a favor and go see this guy!

Dr. Sturges takes the time to explain things and is not averse to referring to other primary care physicians who have specialties that are different than his. I appreciate the lack of ego in his care. Totally patient focused. He will routinely spend an hour with me on my visits. Never feel rushed.

Dr. Sturges is a great doctor. He spends a lot of time with you trying to determine all the parts that could affect a correct diagnosis. I am 25 and have been dealing with back issues. He doesn't just prescribe drugs to mask the symptoms and has recommended treatments that will hopefully keep me from having surgery.

I actually would give him a negative star. I had an appointment with his office because I was an insulin dependent diabetic (160 units a day). Instead of treating me he talked about his theory to end diabetes and told me to stop taking my insulin, go vegan and don't eat anything on Mondays. He did nothing else. If you are diabetic, I would stay far away from this guy.

I feel Dr. Sturges is a knowledgeable doctor and like the fact that he is conservative in his approach. However, none of that matters if there is ZERO follow through or communication. He told me to purchase a $200 genetic test (out of pocket) then left it up to me to decipher on my own. I called with acute asthma issues, the office told me their computer was down and they would call me back in 30 mins. Never happened. I could give you 3 others incidents just like that in the past year.
