Wet macular degeneration patient
Dr. Adleberg and his staff provide a pleasant environment. My questions are answered, and the wait time is average.

Retina Reattachment - Highest Rating Possible
I was referred to Dr. Adleberg with the Hampton Roads Retina Center. I had something seriously wrong with my vision, I didn’t know what it was, my eye doctor and I just knew it wasn’t right. Same day, when I saw Dr. Adleberg he immediately knew it was a partial retina detachment. This is a very serious issue, time sensitive, and honestly pretty darn scary. He not only kept me calm and talked me through all of the next steps, he performed the surgery on me the next day. After following all of his recovery procedures and doing regular check ups, I am now being released from regular check ups as of today. I highly recommend Dr. Adleberg to anyone who has any retina issues and I am glad to have him in my corner!

Review Part 2 - Some people may criticize or complain about long waits in the waiting room, etc, but here’s a question to ask yourself: Would you rather have something done well and slow or fast and sloppy? Dr. Adleberg takes his time with his patients to ensure the highest quality of service is being provided. I cannot say this about my previous doctor – felt more like an assembly line: get people in, give them a shot, make next appointment, check them out, repeat.

Dr. Adleberg is the best. Not only does he know the latest research and treatments for complicated retina problems, but he treats patients as family. He is very kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I thank God that Dr. Adleberg is my doctor. I believe that I am getting the best care for my chronic retina condition.

After having to wait around with Virginia eye care . My husband is a Navy Veteran and getting the surgery he need it at the other place was a nightmare. They will never have the paperwork done on time or claimed they didn't get authorization from the VA on time. After visiting Dr.Adlebergs office in a matter of a week my husband was having his much needed surgery and now we are on for his second eye.
