Dr. Jonathan Davidorf, MD

Very disappointed in his handling of complications from IOL implants. After suffering more than a year with dysphotopsia in both eyes from the first implants, he changed the implants with two vastly different lenses, leaving me nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other, so it's like walking around with a blinder over one eye. I'm surprised to hear others say he's a good listener, so perhaps that's only when it's something he wants to hear. When I described the glare in any light, almost like glasses fogged over, he'd say I'm being too picky. I spent a small fortune and didn't have high expectations as he indicated I might still need 'readers,' but now need correction at practically every range, and still experiencing the dysphotopsia in one eye.

Dr Davidorf performed catarct surgery in both of my eyes. He is a good listener and allows patient the time to discuss all the options providing knowledgeable and informative consideration. He is a skilled surgeon and up to date with the latest lenses.

He is very knowledgeable and a great person. He looks out for the patient's best interests

I've never met Dr. Davidorf; this is about his office, not him. If you don't mind production line medicine this is the place for you. The tech I saw (techs do almost all the testing) was unpleasant and the doctor had to redo my glaucoma test since the tech's results were incorrect. While you are in the waiting room (they took me 30 minutes after my appointment) you can hear loud giggling and talking from the back. The ladies working the front desk do act in a professional manner. I have never been to such an overall unprofessional doctor's office. Going to the doctor is never fun, but it should never be this unpleasant for a simple eye exam, caused primarily by the tech I had, the wait time, and overall basic lack of professionalism. The doctor herself was fine, but her exam felt rushed.

Very professional environment. The staff and doctors in this practice are friendly, supportive and I felt cared for from start to finish.

Very disappointed in their services. Charged my medical insurance for services not provided. I called a few times and was told it was a mistake and yet they mailed me the bill. It is a big scam. I have eyemed insurance and they asked my for my medical insurance. I should have Neve given them my information. They billed my medical insurance for a made up service. I just had an exam, nothing else and my eyemed insurance covers. When I asked them why they needed my medical insurance they said just in case in the future you need a surgery or ....we never bill medical insurance. What a scam. I will not pay that bill $49.00 and will open a claim.

My experience with the Davidorf Eye Group starting with his wonderful staff to the professionalism of Dr. Davidorf has been most gratifying. His thorough explanations about some of the eye issues I have experienced and his treatment including surgery was done with me feeling satisfied and relieved. He comes highly recommended, a doctor I can truly trust.

Been going to Davidorfs, father and son for many years. Contact lense treatments outstanding with hard lenses. Eventually cataract surgery with Jonathan, superb back at work the following day? Follow up checkup one year later went smooth as silk. Can't say enough good things about them - be sure to check out their charitable work displayed in the office.

I had Lasik done by Dr. Davidorf and my vision is great. I was so scared and nervous before the procedure but his staff was so kind and made me feel better about having the surgery done. The after results are awesome. Any one wanting to have LASIK done I advise to come here.

Dr Davidorf is THE BEST ! He is personable, professional and very skilled at his work. He performed surgery on both eyes. I have not seen this well for decades ! I'm excited to SEE great results so quickly !! Made me feel comfortable and thoroughly informed me what was involved . He is an exceptional and skilled surgeon .

This Doctor, in my experience and opinion, is THE BEST ! He is professional, very experienced and has a great personality for interacting with patients ! He explains and answers any/all questions without hesitation. He informed me of ALL options available , and advised what he knew is/was best for me. He made me comfortable to have both eyes operated on. Best of all, at an advanced age, I can already see better than I have in decades ! I found it refreshing that this man cared so much.

For those of you seeking cataract surgery I implore you to do some research on the doctor that is to perform such surgery. It's been a few years now since I've had mine done at the hands of Davidorf and I've regretted every day since. I had both eyes done and now see double, not good for stargazers, and Davidorf's remedy was to prescribe me glasses with some sort of prism to correct the problems I'm having. I'm literally trying to type this review less than 8 inches from my computer screen.

I have been going to Dr J Davidorf for several years. He does special eye tests because I am a Diabetic. He is very thorough, explains everything and takes the time to answer questions. He recently performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes....first eye done then second one two weeks later. He called me at home post op both times to inquire how I was feeling. That personal touch is exceptional and appreciated. I opted for the upgraded lens and extremely pleased with the results. He's the best

For many years I have gone to Dr Davidorf for regular eye exams and he and his team of doctors are always excellent. Dr Jonathan Davidorf also performed cataract surgery on my mom. He is an extremely talented, kind and an outstanding doctor. Our family is so grateful to him and his team. The surgery was a huge success. The follow up in his office was also great. Our whole family highly recommends The Davidorf Eye Group.

Above and beyond! I'm from Thousand Oaks, but I go to school in Nashville. Dr. Davidorf and his office were fantastic at working around my schedule and providing care even when I'm away at school. Dr. Davidorf and his staff have excellent bedside manner, keeping me calm and instilling confidence throughout my PRK process. He helped me each step through recovery from the surgery and is still there even now I can see!

Dr J Davidorf is an excellent ophthalmologist. Excellent bedside manners. I was little hesitant to go through my cataract surgery. On the day of the surgery he was kind enough to come out of the OR to explain the details of the surgery and why he recommended the type of lense for my eye. Made appointment just to explain the lense and the surgery once again before the second eye. . Now both eyes are done and can see much better.
