No long waits is knowledgeable compassionate calls to answer questions

He has been taking care of my father in the hospital who's been internally bleeding for 3 weeks. Dr Kaplan is excellent caring and very polite.

Had a terrible experience with dr Kaplan. His lack of compassion, care, concern and communication were beyond unsatisfactory. Basically a routine colonoscopy gone bad. Dismissed my extreme pain for 10 days until I was sent for my first catscan to find out I had a large hematoma on my inner abdomen resulting from the colonoscopy. Took over 4 months for the pain to subside and return to normal activity. His office was impossible to get in touch with. Several messages had to be left before I would get any type of response from anyone. Quite the unpleasant experience.

A colonoscopy is never fun, but with Dr Kaplan’s kind care and his helpful office and sympathetic nursing staff, the procedure was just fine! I felt like I was in very good hands!

I fought against the rude front office staff for years as Dr. Kaplan repeatedly "fixed" my problem. When I finally got fed up with the front office staff to seek another doctor, I found out that he dealt with a "patch" rather than a cure. How I wish I had changed sooner.

Horrible & rude staff and a horrible way of conducting business. My mom saw Dr. Kaplan when she was admitted to Delray Medical Center a few weeks ago; he did an endoscopy & colonoscopy on her and asked to see her for a follow up in his office when she was discharged. I called his office to schedule the appointment for my mom since she doesn't speak English and when I spoke to Kerri Owens on the phone she was fine until my mom went to her appointment today and they told her 1) you don't speak English so we can't treat you. This is totally unacceptable when Kerri did tell me that she had Spanish speaking people in her office who could help my mom. 2) Kerri told my mom that Dr. Kaplan didn't take Humana Medicaid when I clearly gave her my mom's insurance info on the phone when making the appointment. How is it possible to turn an 89 year old patient whom the doctor asked to see so he could follow up with her for her diverticulitis issue?! How irresponsible is this staff & doctor?

Exceptional doctor!

I just began to use De. Kaplan since Dr. Blum retired. he follows up with my Meds along with his Nurse, Stacy. She confers with him before giving me an answer to my particular question of the day.

Dr. Kaplan has been my GastroDoc for years. I cannot express my appreciation for his excellent skills, his level of concern for patients as people,and his judgment-in which I have great confidence. Knowing that he is on my "team" of physicians is a great comfort. His office is extremely efficient--Wilmede,the office manager demonstrates great ability with her staff--all of whom I have found to be pleasant,responsive,and again,treated me like a person,rather than a "patient" or a "dollar sign.

Great office staff. Dr.Kaplan is a good doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.

You couldn't ask for a better doctor. Very competent, professional and focused. He is personal and caring.
