Dr Werner change my life. Had my hip replacement done by him and can honestly say I am a new person. I suffered for a long time before I realize it was time Recovery was exactly as he explain. Iam new again

Dr. Werner is very professional and listens to you. He has changed my life back to when i was in my 20's i am able to do almost everything after my hip replacement. No more pain meds for me!

Dr. Werner is very thorough and made sure I understood the procedure and the recovery. This was the best decision I could have made and my anterior hip replacement by Dr. Werner is perfect.

After years of shots to both knees because of arthritis, I was informed that my left one was bone-on-bone and would have to be replaced. Even though I had a general idea of what to expect because my late wife had both knees done by his predecessor at Summit Health, Dr. Werner went over how things have changed since her surgeries. For one, I was up and doing some walking right after the surgery. After two weeks of at-home rehab, I would have outpatient rehab at a place of my choice. He encouraged me to have rehab until I felt I was almost 100%. What I liked about Dr. Werner was that when I talked to him at my 6-month follow-up about the replacement and what I noticed he was very open about the fact that the replacement is artificial and the differences were natural. At some point in the future, I may have to have my right knee replaced and if that occurs I will be making an appointment with Dr. Werner because he is my surgeon of choice.

I had 2 hip replacements with Dr. Werner and both went extremely smoothly! He made the whole process as calming as could be. I couldn’t be happier!!

I put off my hip pain for a long time, I was hesitant to get this done. I finally saw Dr. Werner and his explanation and step by step procedures convinced me to get this done. I'm glad I did, my flexibility, balance and mobility are greatlly improved not to mention NO hip pain. I'm 6 weeks out and walk normally with no pain. Was using a walker before I had total hip replacement surgery. Dr Werner was kind and compassionate. Xray right in his office helped make a game plan that first visit. Surgery was great. Up and walking day 1. Healed well and even faster than we planned (I'm 57 so younger than some patients going into hip surgery). Scar is thinner than I anticipated and very neat. Physical therapy was work, however it had me walking without a limp in a few short weeks. Dr Werner was amazing throughout the process, answering any questions and reassuring me along the way, and even rejoicing with me with my progress! He took the time I needed to feel comfortable with my decision. I was in such a bad way that my co-workers came to get me from my car in a wheel chair. Every step was excruciating pain. Many times I cried! To go from that to running around again, I truly feel 20 years younger than I did before this surgery. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Werner!!!

The orthopedist that did my knee replacements referred me to Dr. Werner for my hip replacement. I was a little hesitant since I did not have a history with him. But he is very skilled, personable, and responsive to all my questions.
