Extremely professional doctor and fantastic staff!
Dr. Barrera is a very confident , competent and compassionate doctor. He has decades of experience and explained my procedure in detail , which was extremely reassuring . He has Excellent bedside manner and really kind and competent staff. The post op care was excellent too. I had a major procedure, but he made this journey absolutely painless and easy to go through. He set realistic expectations and saw me periodically to assess my progress. He is easy to talk to and he patiently answered all my questions ( every visit) His office has a very high end, calming ambiance and it adds to the overall experience. His interior decorator also gets a five star! I would recommend my friends and family to him and know that they will also have an amazing experience. I am still healing and he has told me that in a few months, I will be able to appreciate his artwork fully( surgeryperformed on me) I thank Dr. Barrera and his staff with all my heart and send them my blessings and prayers.

I am so happy with the results of my facelift. I’m 67 and did not want to look overly stretched and looking way too young. Dr Barrera is a good listener. My results are wonderful. I looked very refreshed. I’m happy.

Such a caring doctor!
I’m one of their younger patients and not only did doctor Barrera do a phenomenal job, he was caring. Post surgery, he informed me that my incisions were done as minimally as possible and were hidden behind my ears. It was a lot more work on him and the OR team but he really went above and beyond for me so that I had the best experience. I couldn’t recommend him or the office staff enough!

I am 5 weeks post op from a septorhinoplasty andI very happy with my results! I came across Dr Barrera online by chance and after looking at gallery pictures I was super impressed by the natural results he gives his patients. I booked a consultation , had surgery and have had 2 follow ups and everything has gone very smoothly . I have had such a wonderful experience that I wish I would’ve done this sooner . I highly recommend Dr Barrera to anyone looking to get a rhinoplasty !

Wonderful Experience
Dr. Barrera removed a lymphoma that was embedded in my facial nerve. This was a complex surgery because there was risk of permanent damage to the nerve. He did amazing work. I look much better and retained function of my facial muscles. I even look more youthful. He and his staff are empathetic and caring. They go above and beyond to take care of patients, whether doing surgery or dealing with insurance issues. I am so grateful to have found this doctor and his team!

Professional, ethical and listens
Dr Barrera was the perfect surgeon for us. He not only did a great job on my daughters nose. His skill and education surpass any other in San Antonio. He also has a wonderful staff and the ethics from this facility are evident in everything they do. There is no substitute for this combination. I did my due diligence to find him and am so happy with results.

Rhinoplasty
Researched many plastic surgeons and ended up going with Dr. Barrera. Best decision I could have made. He gave me the best consultation visit and couldn’t be more happy with the results. I’m one month post op and the results are life changing for the better. Dr Barrera used many techniques and top of the line surgical equipment. I had no bruising after my surgery with minimal pain and swelling. I highly recommend!!!

Rhinoplasty/Septoplasty
Dr. Barrera is board-certified with top-notch expertise. He is especially skilled at preservation rhinoplasty, and operates with precision. My results are better than I could have imagined. He addressed the structural integrity of my nose and also augmented my appearance. He listened to my input and delivered a natural look with a more pleasing appearance. Highly recommend!

Three years Later
Three years later after my revision procedure, I am even happier with the results. Dr. Barrera was the best choice for me. I especially liked his bedside manner, the results I could hope for, his patience with multiple questions and the genuine care I feel I received. Best Doctor!
I wasn’t sure what I could expect for my result since my nose had a severe deviated septum and deformity. Dr.Barrera exceeded my expectations and has changed my life. I can breathe through my nose for the first time in a long time and am so pleased with my nose’s appearance. I had surgery a week ago and my surgery and recovery went extremely well. The anesthesiologist, hospital and nurses were great too. I am so thankful for both doctors and his team.

The best experience ever. I turned to Dr. Barrera for some concerns I had with a treatment I got done by another doctor. He and his staff were so great, they listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I left feeling so relieved knowing that I was in good care and trust and value his opinion. I’ve had lip filler and dysport with Dr. Barrera before but yesterday I finally tried under eye and cheek filler. I’m a tad sore but I have very minimal swelling and no bruising. I initially wanted more filler under the eyes but Dr. Barrera suggested we start with just a little bit. I’m glad I listened to him because the results look so natural which is what I was going for. It hasn’t even been 24hrs and I’m already so happy with his work. Dr. Barrera is the only person I will trust with my face!
