Dr. Joseph Goodman II, MD

I was referred by my primary care physician to see Dr. Goodman, an ENT, when I was experiencing a symptom, among other things, of possible hearing loss. Dr. Goodman told me he didn't "have the equipment" to do a simple hearing test in his office and then referred me to an audiologist, for which the earliest appointment I could make was one for a month later. I then got a bill for $499, only about two thirds of which was covered by insurance. Dr. Goodman, in the brief time we talked, seemed knowledgable and kind. Perhaps this situation is not completely his fault, but paying $134 to see an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor who could not give me a hearing test when my referral was for hearing loss feels completely unfair.

I am 48 years old Man recently diagnosed Papillary carcinoma on my Thyroid. Honestly speaking I was so shocked and not able to accept it. I was going through lots of fear and tensions. The first day of meeting with Dr. Goodman I was really relaxed as he has explained me everything very well and what to be done and how to maintain the future life . He was highly hospitable and very kind. I could see the professionalism and ethics he maintains. His approach to me was very Brotherly even I came far away from India .Yesterday I have undergone my thyroid surgery which he has done so perfectly and I was discharged yesterday itself. I feel Ok today . In one world I say that God has send Dr. J Goodman to this earth as a angel to save millions life. Life is a beautiful ride!

After years of being ill and going to numerous doctors, I was finally blessed to come under the care of Dr. Goodman. He diagnosed me quickly and is aggressive in my treatment. We have a long haul to go but for the first time in almost 5 years I'm seeing and experiencing progress!!!!

Dr. Goodman has been treating me for parotid gland issues and conducted a total parotidectomy a few months ago. The surgery was long but successful. No facial nerves damaged and he used a different technique to hide the scars behind the ear instead of down the neck. He is always professional and courteous and takes a genuine interest in the patient. He also returns emails. No long wait times to see him either.
