Dr. Neimat preformed a surgery involving a spinal/neurostimulator and a cervical laminectomy, for my TN/face pain. I’m blessed to have such a caring and compassionate neuro team. I truly believe he saved my life. We need Chronic pain psychiatrist’s & therapist to help us cope with this Debilitating disease. Hopefully in the near future we can offer mental help, it’s a process to learn how to live with pain. I’m so thankful for everyone @ UofL for taking a chance on me?????????? I am willing to help however I can. Interviews with new doctors, speaking with other patients, sharing my story etc… etc….

Performed a delicate procedure on my face to stop the excruciatingly painful condition of trigeminal neuralgia. He did it with flying colors! We got excellent results. No more attacks!

Do not let this man cut on your loved one!! He ruined my families life!!! There is no routine surgery, my "simple resection" turned into a total of 5 surgeries to fix his botched mess. Those 5 have caused numerous other medical issues such as small stokes, cataracts, worse seizures, detached retina, loss of over half of my peripheral vision, disability, depression, and many other medical issues. Meanwhile no follow up or help from surgeon to live new unmanageable life. He lives it up and leaves.

Dr. Neimat went out of his way to help me. He was very patient with my lengthy list of issues and listened intently to me trying to explain them. This included listening to all of the other conflicting ideas that other doctors had given me. I trust his opinion on my situation because I feel as though he didn't just try to diagnose me and move on like so many others had, but listened to the whole situation to get a feel for the bigger picture of what my problem was.
