Find another office
Office staff is terrible and rude. Tried to speak with Melanie about an appointment. She blamed me for not knowing how scheduling works, gave me an attitude and when I asked to get a call back from my doctor she said 'he's not going to call you.' Then I called the front desk and tried to speak with someone and got the same rude attitude and they also said, no one would call me other than Melanie. So, rude and unhelpful office staff and a doctor you can't get in touch with.

Dr Stern's administrative system
Very difficult to get through to Dr. Stern's office for appointments and/or prescription renewals. When you do get to see Dr. Stern he is attentive and an excellent diagnostician.

The Best!
Dr. Stern is an honest, compassionate and extremely competent doctor. He took the time to thoroughly explain my diagnosis, medication and care, and is always available to answer any questions. Calls are always returned in a timely manner. His staff is friendly, competent and always very helpful. Dr. Stern is truly the best!

Dr. Stern appears to be a well qualified, experienced, patient, & good physician. But getting through to his office by phone is as crossing Niagra Falls on a tight rope...if one is fortunate enough to be able to leave a message, expereince teaches the odds of a return call are slim.

Worse experience ever. After 2 GI procedures. my pain persisted. Could never reach either the PA or Stern. Luckily another GI diagnosed and treated my infection. Stay away from this practice.

Dr Stern recommend surgery to correct a gastric problem. Surgery was performed on June 10. Dr Stern won’t see me until July 25. I think that post surgery patients should have some priority. I feel as though I am being ignored.

I have been a patient of Dr Stern for this past pandemic year. Despite the challenges the pandemic posed I have felt my care was the best! Dr stern is very experienced, attentive to my care needs and went the extra mile when I needed it the most. The the office staff is also caring and Cindy has been super at helping me understand the process involved in my care. Cindy is easy to talk to and is caring and honest just like Dr Stern.

Lousy, burned out doctor whose only concern is money. Nearly misdiagnosed me and when I attempted to see someone else in the office for a second opinion of my condition he wrote a letter telling me I wasn't allowed to see anyone in the office but him. Horrible doctor, wouldn't recommend this incompetent doctor to anyone.

Dr. Stern was extremely attentive and patient with me. He took his time and listened. I was very nervous and he calmed me down. He is very knowledgable, solved my issue and I am now feeling great. I would highly recommend him.

The Dr. was nice enough but he did a very expensive Endoscope that did not show anything. Despite my symptoms he did not offer any other solutions. I suffered for 6 more months before I ended up in the ER and in 5 min they did an ultrasound and admitted me for surgery to remove a gall stone. I was billed a big amount for the work he did and he never even thought to do a simple cheaper test that would have given me relief sooner.

I just moved here from New York and was very worried about finding a good Gastroenterologist. I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Stern as he goes above and beyond for his patients well being. He is extremely knowledgeable and understanding. He is friendly and I was able to develop an excellent rapport with him immediately. I have some medical issues to face and he is amazingly willing to help me His assistant is a little rough around the edges but bear with her as he is just great!

On a Sunday had terrible stomach pains. Visited Urgent Care who sent me to the ER. They did tests and released me and told me to go to my gastro Doctor. Called first thing at 9. They got back to me at 10:30 and gave me an appointment for WEDNESDAY. Totally unacceptable. Will never use this office again.
